pls share if your baby is put on pillow or without. how to prevent flat head?
my dear son who's coming 5 mnths have never sleep on a pillow, when he was before 2 months he wld sleep on his side n after 2 months he's sleeping on his tummy and he will turn his head side to side so so far no problem with flat head.
Heard put in sarong will have round head.
i let dear son sleep in sarong when he's around 3th week till now... but only let him sleep in the day.. at night sometimes put dimple pillow sometimes just let him sleep flat..
I let mine child sleep on an infant pillow. those which like have a dent in the middle. It sort of helped.
i bought 3 pillows(one is those infant pillow with a hole in the middle, one is those tummy sleeping pillow for the face shape and the other one is reclining pillow cos my girl always spit milk when she younger) for my girl n got 2 free pillows which comes in her cot matress cover set but almost never use them at all! she has been sleeping with a sleep positioner since 6 weeks old thus has always been sleeping on her side. even now without positioner she also always sleep on her side lol
my baby never sleep on sarong but got very round head i think it is genetic cos my hubby was like that when he was younger. my baby slept on the donut pillow (a hole in the middle) though.
i thought d only thing that help is moulding her hand everytime i bf her
oh, now will try to let my son sleep on his side. haha
To prevent flat head, you can let the baby sleep on the cot by his sides, but remember to keep changing sides, else one side will get flatter! Like my nephew. But luckily now not that bad.. Getting rounder..
But if your baby is sleeping in yaolan, then dont't have to do anything extra.. *giggles*
For Iggy, I just let him lie on alternate sides for each naps when he was NB. After 1mth+ to 2mths, I let him lie on his tummy to zzz. To train his neck muscles and sleep better.
