question about rocker

Hi all!
I've bought a rocker for dear daughter before she's born.
I was wondering when can I let her use the rocker?
She's only 2 weeks old now.
mother in law said that sleeping in the rocker now will affect her bones or something like that.

Hope someone can clear my doubt!

Re: question about rocker

I only start to use it by my boy is 4 wks old. So I guess you shold keep the guideline at 1 month for safety precaution.

Re: question about rocker

I started using about when my baby is 1 week old. I think it depends how sturdy the rocker is too...

Re: question about rocker

rocking is food esp fr young babies... just like in your womb. at night sleep on firm mattress day time rocker is fine.... in fact rocking is good for stimulating vestibular system...will help in your babys spatial orientation.. i make it a point to rock my baby everyday in fact... i dont have rocker so i put on a beach ball and rock her.
