Can baby drink soup that is brewed with red dates and wolfberries?
Hi oopsgal, how old is the baby you're refering to? I'm trying to give my baby wolfberries but my baby has already started solids and will be chewing on the wolfberries. I know some other mummies here also cook baby's porridge with wolfberries.
Won't be advisable to feed wolfberries and red dates when baby is still very young.
I'm not too sure about red dates though. I've not heard of any mummy feeding red dates water. I think it's coz red dates is heaty and might cause constipation if taken in great amounts.
how old is your baby? For me i used wolfberries to boil soup for porridge stock for my son. As for red dates it's heaty so cannot take too often once every wk i'll boil soup with lean pork 1 red date n dried longan for porridge stock.
