No. Bring her to see a padi. They will prescribe something to dry up the mucus. But if the runny nose is not interfering with her breathing usually doc will tell you to let it clear up on its own. My baby had runny nose which caused her not able to sleep well, so that is what the doc told me. Hope this helps.

your son is too young to take medication n all they can help ya is by giving ya nose drop to help your son's nose block. It will takes awhile before the running nose goes off. just bear with it as your son will b more cranky than usual during tis period coz i been thru tis too~

for runny nose i always rub oil on his chest n back so can breathe better at night and it helps. it's some indonesian oil (not minyak telon) that my maid ask my relative to buy back for us.

i am quite surprise that the other doc actually prescribe meds for your 4mths old son~ By rite such young age shouldnt take any meds as their livers r not that mature yet which is really not good for them to take meds.

I'll try to minimise the no. of days for medication. He seems to be better this morning. But can continue to give him nose drops until he fully recover right.

As parents, we're always worry about our kids well being, long term commitment...

Nose drop cannot continuous using it for 5 days ~ After 5 days you have to stop a few days before using it again~ Didnt your pediatrician told you about tis?
