hi ladies, is there any carrier for suitable newborn?
i have the one from kiddy palace almost brand new but it's over at my mum's place. tried it on my son but he doesn't like it, in the end bought a bjorn active which he loves being in it n till now 4 months i always put him n carry around. If you want i can pass it to you to try the kiddy palace one
i bought aprica one.. my girl likes it alot but i personally feel its rather hot so i only use it in other seasons(not summer). another thing is its rather troublesome to wear.. cos cant do it alone if im outside. many things to adjust..
the baby bjorn ones also need to adjust alot right?
There are FIVE positions to use this carrier- Newborn, for breastfeeding, 3 to 6 months, 4 to 7 months and 8 months and above.
I received this carrier as a gift 2 months back but I hardly use it as my daughter prefers to sit in the stroller. In conclusion, I only used it for three times.
I heard from my friend that this costs about $38. Now, you can buy it now at $28 only.
I clean and disinfect the carrier using dettol, softener and detergent every time after using as I am very particular about cleanliness. Besides that, this carrier comes from a smoke and pet- free house.
Working function: 10/10. Physical appearance: 10/10.
How is the collection of item done?
1. Self collect it at my house- Bukit Panjang (Fajar)
2. Other locations can be arranged with additional charges- depending on location
How is payment done?
1. Cash on delivery (COD)
2. Bank transfer to my POSB Saving account or UOB Saving account
Any enquiry or viewing, please call me at 81382789. I might be slow in replying msg or call as I am studying the whole day.

i bought a cheap one fm toys r us.
infantino. carrier. quite ok
you can try baby bjorn synergy, i bought it and i love it
you can try slings.
slings are usually most comfortable for newborns cos they are so small and may not be able to fit properly in carriers.
but if your baby is quite big sized, then you may want to try those upright carriers.
best to find one that gives good support to you and baby. for carriers, look for those with waist straps cos these will give better support than those with only shoulder straps.
i so regret buying my combi carrier, paid so much and can't use it for long cos my shoulders will ache after half an hour!
I bought a Baby Bjorn but dont't dare to use it yet coz my baby head still not stable...
Also it seems rather complicated to use...
Shldn't be that complicated to use. Else you can bring the carrier down to any Mothercare outlet, get them to put it on for you and adjust the straps correctly. free of charge eh!!!
The best part is whenever I go to Mothercare (any outlets), the staffs will approach me and try and help me adjust w/o me asking.
www.momsinmind.com.sg, and www.hotslings.com.
i have these two types of slings. pple who can figure out the sarong slings love them but pple like me who cannot, prefer hotslings for short time use, esp when going out cos more convenient.
