how do you or when do you let your baby have tummy time?
we turn an lay them or let them turn themselves??
if we turn them, how to do it?? baby seems so fragile.. i mean how shld i grab the baby to turn them?
Hold her by her armpits then gently place her on the floor.you can put a low cushion under her then put her on it.Cushion mus not be too high. She mus be close to the floor if not she may fall. This is used to let baby train her hands and legs to prepare for crawling. If not you can just let her lie on her tummy if she can lift up her head.you can get her to move by placing something that she likes infront of her.Put it close to her get her attention when she starts trying to grab it, move it abit further away.
I also dont really know how to lay my baby on his tummy, but saw the pediatrician did it once when i brought him for his 6-in-1 jab and the pediatrician did assessment on his progress.
pediatrician just carry him n place him very easily on his tummy but i tried at home, quite difficult
hahah yeah. But it's not very difficult to flip baby.Of cos you cannot just simply flipy flip the baby over like that. But you can either what i suggested just now or put baby on your laps in sitting position like when you burp baby then put your arm under her chest so that she will be looking downwards then put other hand under baby's thigh area.(then baby will be in "airplane" position. Then place her down on the mat.Can try with some toy or pillow first. Imagine one side is baby's back then practice
i just allow pin to flip by herself.
dont feel there's a need to rush.
