My baby is now nearing four months, and my mom who usually bathes her find it difficult to support her using just hands, thus i'm thinking of buying those nets that can be attached to baby bath tub to support my baby.
Anyone using such? is it safe? or is there an alternative accessory that I can buy that can safely hold the baby while bathing?
yah its safe, actually still need to use your hand to support.
how i bathe pin in the past is. i take 2 (plastic) chairs n then put the baby bath tub on top. and i place it near my bed. so i can sit n use one hand to support pin n my other hand is free to clean her. so i dont have to bend down and can sit comfortably to bathe her.
I use the net that comes with our baby bath-tub. Very useful until baby was able to sit.

I hav a question... How do you clean your baby's back with the help of this net... Wont it be in the way???
I didn't use bath tub net... To make it easier for me to hold onto baby, I place the tub on the toliet bowl seat (cover shut) then place a chair to sit & bath for baby. I do so until baby is about 4+mths & can sit with slight support... Then I will put tub on floor & sit on the ledge of the toliet door.
I find the tub net troublesome to keep clean & also will only fit babies up to a certain size. Both my boys are quite tall, so definately can't use for long.
I would suggest that you get your mum to try a different position to bath baby... Getting her a stool may help if she puts the tub on the floor.
I did not use a net when she was younger. Now that she is 10 months, no need to say.. she is so explorable... that nothing will hope her to sit properly in the tub.. so I must say the net will not last very long.. so if you intend to buy one, better buy soon, otherwise you will not use it for long.
