hi all mtbs i,m due in oct 2009. just wondering when you clean baby's bottom be it due to her poo poo and/0r pee @ home do you use warm water with cotton wool or can just use baby wipes? if its outside we will have to use baby wipes rite no choice but what about @ home? is it good to use wipes versus warm water w cotton wool will just by using wipes itself b clean enuff even thoug i guess its more convient in a way just wipe n throw? r both wipes n warm water w cotton wool =same effect its just personal choice???? if so for those using baby wipes have you tried using baby cloth instd from pigeon which i unstd wont tear so ezily any comments on that? thks
i use warm water n cotton at hm when she was younger n wipes outside. i try not to use wipes as much as possible cos chemicals... water is best. now i just wash her butt at hm.
i use pigeon wipes. but will use warm water to clean his butt at least twice a day to keep his butt clean
I use cotton wool and warm water to clean her up whenever she poops. For convenience, I use wipes when we are out.
Try not to use wipes too often; the chemicals often cause nappy rash.
If you still prefer to use wipes, please get Pigeon ones. They are thick and big!
When Iggy was younger, I used wet wipes at home and outside, but when he started standing, I will wash his butt if we are home, else wet wipes no choice if we are out. I'm alternating J&J wet wipes and Pigeon.
I prefer warm water and those facial pad (cotton). Cleaner in my opinion. If outside, yes, we using wipes. I like Johnson and Johnson. Thick and soft.
ya me use johnsons wipes too..nice n thick..if at home sometimes i just carry her to bathroom sink n wash her bum after wiping her
In the first few days, I just used warm water and tissue meant for babies. After that, I started using baby wipes but only those without alcohol and perfume.
when baber was still a baby, will use baby wipes most of the times
unless if he poo a great deal and quite 'messy' when at home i will carry him all the way to wash at the basin .....cleaner
i have seen some mothers washing their babies' bottomz in the public toilets with the baby sitting inside the basin....they are quite skillful~~~lols~~~
I used wipes to clean only when his poo is so much & messy then toilet it will go or washing. ooo... that's the part I hate the most during my earlier try out but now leave with it
by the way, I choose to use Tollyjoy baby wipes "no Scent" at home & aloe vera type when out.
normally, if at home, i will use warm water with a teeny drop of soap n clean with a soft hankerchief.
but before that will us wet wipes to clean off the poo then use the water to cleanse.
when she can stand (arnd 10 mths?)
i just bring her to the toilet n wash her butt.
