Can we get more help?

i am intending to put my 2yo son in a childcare (cc) in 2010. due to unforeseen circumstances, i dont tink i can afford the monthly cc fees.
(d story is - hubby got retrenched and recently got a job wich pay so much lesser and end up i have to cover d xtra expenses eg. reno loans, pending bills etc. total net pay for us is only <$2500. we r basically left with <$100 to survive).
does anybody noes if mcys/cc can help us to give more subsidy for the cc fees? whom should i ask for more help, if any??

i'm not sure if you can get much subsidy unless you go to MP to explain that you got no other childcare options and CC is a necessity so that both of you can go out to work to cover expenses.

and this also means you gotta settle for a CC by non-profit organisation cos their fees are much lower to start with.

you can enquire at the CC itself also cos some of them do have info for subsidized CC for low income families.

your boy qualify for CDA acc right? did you save money der? As government gives you same amt as what you save. then you can use CDA acct to pay for the CC fees...

maybe you go ask ntuc childcare, cos i know of some parents there after subsidy etc, not paying a cent every month. you can call the principal and tell them your financial situation, see what they can offer you.
