So, as a new parent what are your opinions about the kindergarten queue?
Sometimes I find it ridiculous to queue for a kindergarten when your baby is only a few months old. But on the other hand, I have started to source for suitable playgroups for my 7 month baby, but have yet to make any commitments. I sort of understand what these parents are thinking-- all parents want the best for their children. For me, I just do not have the time to join in the party of queuing up and won't consider it in the future.
Is it a bit premature to decide where your few-minutes-old child goes?
In my opinion, yes. Seriously speaking, which mother has the luxury of such thoughts when their babies are only a few minutes old? My only thoughts back then were only feeding, changing diapers, sleeping, eating. I simply didn't have the extra time to think of such things.
Just my 2 cents. Hope it is of use.
