The Yuhua Young Ladies’ Club will be organising a Children’s Camp over the weekend of 10 & 11 December 2011, 8.30 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. at Yuhua Community Club.

This year, we have arranged for a variety of activities to develop the creativity, cognitive and leadership skills of our participants. In particular, we will be partnering with the Singapore Science Centre to organise a workshop at their Ecogarden, a microcosm of nature which hosts many amazing habitats.

Another highlight will be the screening of the IMAX movie “Born To Be Wild”, an inspiring story of love, dedication and the remarkable bond between humans and animals. This film documents orphaned orang-utans, elephants, and the extraordinary people who rescue and raise them.

This is a day camp that is especially suitable for students who are currently in Primary 5, and we would thus like to invite your child to join us. Participation is absolutely free of charge. Breakfast and lunch will be provided on both days.

A video from the previous camp, of a different theme, is here.

Through this camp, we aim to spread environmental conservation awareness, develop the campers’ teamwork skills, build ties amongst the children, and allow them to have a fun and enriching holiday. We are confident that our action-packed programme will bring loads of life lessons and meaning to your child.

It will be a fun and rewarding experience for the child! All you have to do is sign up at Yuhua Community Center now. Please do not hesitate to contact Peifen at 9187 2362 if you require any clarification or further details.

Thank you.
