| Imperial Concubine | Do you lie to your kids? Mummies and Daddies, Do you lie to your kids? White lies included. If yes, do you think it will damage your credibility when your kids finds out about you lying? Generally, I don't lie to my boy..in fact, i had made my mum's and my ds1's teachers' lifes a bit miserable by refusing to lie to my kid that I am only going off for 'a while' when my ds1 suffers from separation anxiety/first few days in school, or telling my ds1 that I will be around, and then they quietly tell me to go off when my boy is distracted. My mum doesn't understands why I can't spout these 'untrue' words to coax the boy. I can't cos I don't want to damage my credibility. The only times I tell white lies are occasions when my dh ask me to quickly take a glimpse at a sexy lady passer-by and my ds1 ask me what happened and I said daddy ask me to look at that nice car.... ![]() |
