do any mommies knw where can i buy long nipple? i heard from my nanny say that long nipple pacifier is not easy to drop when baby suck,is it true?? i have avent, pigeon and nuk pacifier,(thumb shape) my nanny say thta's y baby always drop ..i knw chinese medical hall, but i dont knw whether is it good ornot..
is it because the pacifier keep dropping?? if for very small baby.. is very normal that this happen.. my boy also like that when he is very small... but after a few months later... it will be ok... because they need to master the skill of sucking first ....
yeah no need to get simi long or short. just the usual ones will do. your baby just have not gotten used to it. after a while, they will be pro, can even "talk" with the pacifier in their mouth. LOL.
In the 1st place, why need to introduce pacifier?
For my 1st boy, he took pacifier only when he wanted to sleep but once sleeping he stops sucking & it will drop out. Thankfully he auto wean himself when he was about 16mths old... was totally by accident coz we locked our bedroom when we go to work & had locked it in our room.
So for my 2nd son I decided to buy 0-3mths & 3-6mths pacifier to standby but so far have not't used it at all. Hope it continues to be so! *fingers & toes crossed*
If pacifier keep dropping better not introduce other wise you will have a prob weaning your baby later on! Besides I do not think baby needs that. I tried to introduce pacifier to my first son but coz he keep on dropping it, I gave up and it was no prob at all. He was fine without it!

I gave pacifier for my girl to strengthen her sucking as she was born tongue tied. However, she has difficulty keeping it in her mouth. A close friend of mine bought her a Paci Plushies and she is able to hold the pacifier with the help of the Paci Plushies.
