difference btwn 5 and 6in1 is: 5in1 does not include one of the hep b. if you choose 5in1, you will have to bring your baby down at 6mth old for hep b jab. if you choose 6in1, your baby can take the hep b together with the last 6in1 jab.
dear son took 5in1 during 3rd and 4th month old. he was supposed to take 3rd 5in1 at 5th month and 3rd hep b at 6mth old. but becos he fell ill at 5th month, we drag to last jab to 6mth old. as he was alrdy 6mth old that time, pediatrician suggested him to take 6in1, means combine, he took the 3rd hep b together. So i dont have to go down to the hospital again a month later for hi hep b.
O.o i see.. My son took bepb on his 2mth lei... then from what the nurse told us next injec will be 3mth & is 5 in 1 ..
everything should be recorded in his health booklet. you go and see, if there is only hep b recorded or other injection too.. you must make sure you know whatever vaccines that is injected into your baby before the doc injects him. at least know the name or something..
