Hello mummies, my sister In law gave birth 1mth later after me . But her baby's lunar birthdate is earlier than my baby due to 轮月 last year. my mother in law said her baby is older then mine in terms of chinese birthday. But obviously i know my baby is older then hers 1mth. What if next time when her baby grow up & demanded he is older then my baby how? (sorry if i sound abit silly here)
hahaha your mother in law abit.... (sorry to say... ) crazy?
like apollo mentioned, your son is born before your sister In law's son, OF COS HE IS OLDER.
n who goes by lunar calender anyway.
if lun yue it just means your son has 2 lunar bday what..
It is obviously obvious that your son was born 1 month earlier than your sis in law's son right?
Mayb your mother in law thinking that the 1st day tht they were born they r 1 yrs old already then the lun yue, so two more bdays so by lunar calender your sister In law son is 3 whereas yours is 2yrs old
But I agree with Ting, nowadays pple count by english bday no more by the chinese bdays already, if count by chinese bday it could be in different month
Ok I thought I got silly inlaws apparently yours too.. My sister In law started family planning the min she knew I'm preggie with a boy n she didn't even had her wedding dinner then.. So by the time weddig dinner she was like 4 months preggie.. When she delivered I went down to visit with son n maid n guess what! The silly woman told her son say hi to didi! When my son was 4 months plus older.. She say cos she's my hubby's elder sis so her kids is of higher seniority.. I just ans her everyone can c mine is older..
candy, your sister In law also another sort sort one...
so next time my elder sis have kids, n pin already at least 4-5 yo she still need to call my sis kids, jiejie/meimei??
but lucky, my father in law will tel my sister In law's baby to call my son gor gor. my mother in law is the mad 1.
Nowadays most ppls go by the english calender. chinese is for those typical chinese elderly, like my mother in law, every chinese birthday must eat mee sua with egg. *FAINT*
i used to have that when i was younger.. haha then my mum got lazy to cook for us~
I thot for chinese bdays eat noodle with egg? my mom cook tht for me ....
Her brain started to malfunction the min she knew her younger bro is getting married before her n me being preggy before her too..
