Hi all, do anyone know where to shop baby things in Singapore? I am Indonesian and I just know major department store only such as Mothercare, Isetan, Taka, Tangs, BHG, Raffles City, etc.
Anyone have review for Baby Hypermart? Where else for baby shop?
For other stuffs such as baby cot, rompers and other necessities I tend to get them from Taka and Mothercare. But they may not be of the best price, however it's convenient as they tend to have wider range (at least to me).
kidzloft is good for baby accessories, especially when they have their 30% sale.
They have things like toys, cloth nappies (annaku brand), socks, beddings, strollers, cots etc. But they are not as big as baby kingdom or hypermart.
can check out their website: www.kidzloft.com. can't remember there's an sg at the end of the add or not.
Thanks mommies for the info!
I usually stay in Carlton Hotel and just familiar with Orchard and Marina area hehe..
Is Baby Hypermart far from there? How much the taxi cost? Or I can use MRT to get Kaki Bukit Timah area?
My baby is 9 mts. I am mostly looking for cute clothes (which is rarely to find in Indonesia), daily use such as mustela and baby food such as gerber, heinz. I always buy the baby food at Marina Square supermarket, but who knows there's still other place who has more baby products...
Singapore Mothercare also has greater products than Mothercare in here...
or you may try kiddy palace (bishan, tampines, sengkang etc) or stephanie shop (tiong bahru, pasir ris etc.) which sell many kids stuff..
there are many outlet in different area..you may check from website.
For cute baby clothes, you can try Mothercare or Chateau Sable (a little costly, but I love the dresses there for my gal)
Moms.. Pasir Ris, Sengkang, Tampines... They are all outside Singapore?
Where else, mom? I've been to KiddyPalace and looking for more complete than KP...
Its Kaki Bukit dear.. Not Kaki Bukit Timah. Cab driver will be confuse if you tell him dat.hehehe... From Carlton Hotel, its quite a distance to get to Kaki Bukit. Why not you take the MRT from Orchard & alight at Novena. From Novena, you go to United Square. There are lots of baby clothes, prams, accessories etc there.. You can check it out. If you need any help, just PM me..
Hi Lenny, from my personal baby-shopping experience, I can say that there is no one-stop baby shop :P
I go to different shops to get different things.
Quality good looking clothes for going out:
Orchard, Vivocity: GAP and Fox
Vivocity, Marina Sqaure: Fox
Places to get organic / non-organic Gerber/Heinz baby food:
- Cold Storage, NTUC and other random organic shops if happen to pass by.
Other items such as - bowls, highchair, weaning cup, baby laundry detergent, toys etc etc I get from Kiddypalace at Tampines (cos I stay there) and I love Kiddypalace cos other than clothes and food, that's my go-to shop for everything already. Membership is $10/year and can get 10% discount off purchases.
Baby Hypermart & Baby kingdom (both at Ubi) for more things like strollers, cots, beddings and such. Dont have nice clothes.

Btw, if you wanna go to kiddy palace or baby hyperstore, if you dont mind the trouble, you can take MRT and alight at Eunos. turn left, walk str along the tracks, then walk thru the only hawker ctr -cum wet mkt there, and then walk along the few coffeeshops where you will reach the bus stop. you can take either bus no., 25, 854 and alight at honda showroom, cross the overhead bridge and take bus 87 and alight at i think 1 or 2 stops after the bus make a left turn from the main road. Or you an ask the bus driver where is shunli industries.. then request him to direct you to alight when to alight to reach there.
Hope the directions is not so confusing for you and te info are useful to you =)
