At 10 months, your baby can have a huge variety of foods!
Check out this website, i refer to it quite a lot:
I read that by 2 years old, baby's tastebuds is more or less 'set for life'. So essentially, to prevent fussy eating, we would expose baby to a huge variety of food before 2 years old. Even bitter and sour foods, because babies need not be 'programmed' to like sweet and salty foods (everyone loves ice cream and chips).
By 10 months, most babies would have eaten finger foods as well.
