Hi Bloggers & friends,

hello and welcome!
congrats on your good news! My edd is jan 09, and same as you, I am also a capricorn! hahahah...
Hi Cancan Mum,
thanks. Hope I can gained more when i have doubts on things to prepare for my ist baby
Hi January 84,
Yuppie both Cappicorn:-)
Mine EDD is 9 Feb 09. Counting down.
what are the things i have to prepare once baby is born as is my ist one?
Need advise fr you all thanks
Hi Cancan mum,
Yes very very excited as is my ist baby
And hope I can cope everything when baby is out cos afraid cant manage
but I wil do my best:-)
actually nothing much besides the physical things, clothings, feeding bottles etc etc.
i feel that the topmost concern will be mental preparation. Coz most of us dont know or dont really think about the future. Who would plan ahead right??? that time my friends ask me : 'hey who will be looking after your baby? me casually just replied my mum " Never really thought about it at all....LOLs
that is: most importantly you need to ensure that you will have a care giver arranged now. Whether it will be your mother? Yourself if you going to be stay at home mum? Parents-in-law? Childcare? Nanny? I find these are more important than anything else. Coz taking care of infant is never easy. Takes a long of effort, love, care and health, needs to sacrifice sleep too.
not to start scaring you but this is something real after you have given birth. And because you are first time mummy a lot of things will have to learn from scratch. Like me last time dont even know how to hold a baby....only started holding my son (means i pick him up myself, not someone pick up and put in my arms) when he was 2.5months old....scared i twist his neck....LOls
also you may feel overwhelmed by the sudden presence of a little being, do not neglect your hubbie as well.
just my experience to share. Hope it helps.

On who to take care, my doubts is not cleared yet cos my mum who is staying far away fr me are working, mother in law are working too. Alot of considerations, Maid i dont trust, infant care centres are so expensive now and really attentive to yr child? Mayb by then I really have to quit my job and look after my baby boy, tnk sometimes have to make some sacificre, but have to let my hubby be the only one earning $$ with expenses rising up.
Saying about that, actualli i also dont know how to carry a baby cos i afraid i wil hurt the baby etc.
preparation most impt as cancanmum said is caregiver.
If your parent and in-law is not able to help you, maybe you want to try to look for a nanny?
childcare centre other then ex is once they got "virus", all will kena. Maid if you cannot trust, you cannot concentrate in your work.
