Event: Asian Festival of Children’s Content (AFCC)

Organised by the National Book Development Council (NBDCS), the Asian Festival of Children's Content (AFCC) is back for its sixth iteration this year, offering for the first time several public and ticketed programmes in its bid to reach out to more creators, producers, distributors and end-users of children's content under one roof. The 8-day festival will feature over 140 speakers including authors, illustrators, publishers, and media professionals from countries like Singapore, China, Australia, Philippines, New Zealand, the United States and United Kingdom. China is the country of focus for this year's AFCC and 10 mainland Chinese speakers will be invited to speak on various aspects of Chinese children's literature.

The festival will take place from the 30th of May to 6th of June 2015. Most of the activities will take place at the Plaza of the National Library Board on Victoria Street.
