I tot when come to fracture, chinese physician (sinseh) is better than western?

I used to go sinseh when i fractured, the healing is fast.

Mei, my mom fractured her ankle last Tuesday, confirmed no fracture by Mt A hence we brought her to a Tei Ta Sinseh which was highly recommended by my boss and best friend. I purposefully checked with Uncle Sunny (the SinSeh) abt fracture can rub or not etc. His reply was like ur hb: have to allow the bone to heal by itself first b4 rubbing.

When I was 8yo, my left elbow dislocated, can felt the aching feeling and my lower arm dangling from elbow onward. Went chinese sinseh, rubbed and locate back the 2 bones, wrapped. The next morning to our horror, it was so painful and swollen!!! Almost double the size. Went TTSH and have x ray, hairline crack. The Docsshake heads, said we should confirm no crack or fracture before proceeding any sinseh action.

Admitted immediately for operation, 2 wire used to tie back the crack part. 6 months later, another operation to remove the wires.

Suffering really.. Haiz.

The purpose of CAST is to hold the affected (crack area) in place. As movements will cause more impact and damages to the already injured are, thus cast is the option. Failing to holding the affected area in place may leads to deformation of the bone during the process of healing.

Mei, let them cast. Likely to do x ray and see whether heal back..

For me, i used to go for sinseh when fractured... the decision still lies on u.

TCM usually will ask for X-Ray copy. If they didn't see the x-ray they probably can only make own assumption how's the fracture looks like since they cannot c thru flesh. Avoid these physicians.

Upon examining the xray they are able to advise if the timing is right. Usually upon removing cast, should be safe to massage..

In TB's case maybe not a fracture. Maybe just a sprain onle bah..

Regardless, right after the accident happened, apply cold compression, (but not direct ice contact to skin, use cloth) to reduce the swollen..

dd currently having some probs too which causing me worries and can't even concentrate on work... haiz... Why our precious kids just couldn't be safe and sound everyday and forever...... whenever dd is having health probs, my life and heart is like hell, besides taking her to the doc and follow doc's instructions, I can do nothing more to help dd at all, I'm as lousy too.... hope everything will goes well for all of us and our kids.... be happy and healthy always...
