Wacoal reaches out to raise awareness of breast cancer
Donate $2 and get $5 Wacoal Voucher
[Singapore, September 2011] In support of Breast Cancer Awareness 2011, Wacoal will be contributing a cash donation to Breast Cancer Foundation Singapore (“BCF”) for its research and activities. Wacoal has been an ardent supporter of the Breast Cancer Awareness movement for close to a decade in Singapore, and this year, Wacoal has pledged to do more.
“Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in Singapore. It affects 1 in 17 women and the risk of developing breast cancer increases with age1. We feel that as a corporation, we have the responsibility to raise awareness and contribute within our best capacity,” shares Mr Teiji Sakaji, Managing Director, Wacoal Singapore.

Simply make a $2 Pink Ribbon donation at any Wacoal or Sorci age boutique and counter, and Wacoal will issue a $5 voucher to the donator. Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF) is a non-profit charity organization, established on 30th September 1997. Under the leadership of its Patron, Mayor (Mrs) Yu-Foo Yee Shoon and her dedicated executive committee comprising mostly lay people and some medical professionals, BCF’s mission is to eradicate Breast cancer as a life-threatening disease.
