my gal (1mth plus) have been swinging her head here n there in front n back everytime i carry her.. sometime she would just bang her head on my chin n which is pain for mi. and when she refuse to sleep, we would carry her and swing her and of cos her head will swing a bit too. then when we put her in yaolan, we will swing it with the strong mode as she like it strong if we set it too soft or middle, she will cry. will all this swinging affect her brain?? was really worried her brain development. please kindly advise.
ok noted taken. i also dont want to hold her upright but the pro is when i caddle her, she dont like it n start crying then when i change it to upright, she stop right away and can fall aslp too...
But I will try to carry him in craddle style most of the time. Whenever i carried him in craddle form, he will cries badly. So I'll let him cry awhile and meanwhile coaxing him to settle him down 1st then rock him to sleep slowly. He will then sleep in a short while. If this dont work then I'll carried upright, let him calm down then slowly turn him to craddle style.
Each time I carried dear son upright, I will feel worry. But of cose, I'll support his head with the other hand cos his head is not that stable yet. If possible, try not to carry your dear daughter upright cos she is only 1 month +. Worried may affect her brain developement.
yeah its not good for her neck if you swing her too much. as for head, i dont know if it will affect it but i think it will cause her a headache...
n stop swinging your baby so much just to put her to sleep, cos in the future, you r gg to have a bigger headache cos it will become a habit for the child.
i find it best to pat the child to sleep in her cot or on the bed. if your doesnt even need to be patted, better yet.
yup.. normall when i carry her upright, once she fall aslp i will turn it to craddle her then put her down on her bed.. but some time i will straight put her to her bed. i dont usually shake her to sleep but my husband does it.. it seem like we r shaking her whenever he shake her to sleep.. sometime i would as k him dont keep shaking her but he will be like if he dont shake she will cry. so in order to make her stop crying, he got to shake her..
i will hold her neck/head when i carry her but sometime when you r patting her, she just sudden lift up her head and swing front n back, side to side which is so unexpected.. i was shock by it too.
now i am trying to craddle instead but she will keep on struggling n cry n i got no choice but to hold her upright but once she fall aslp, i will put her down or change it to craddle style.
