My two month gal have caught virus from mi as i am having flu now and she have some cough.
she will cough until very very xin ku and vomit out the milk, she also did not nap much since this afternoon as she will be waken by her own cough.
Do you mummy think i should bring her to see doc??
Yes I agree with apollo mummy bring your baby to see the pediatrician so tht can diagnosed and given med...so tht your baby can sleep better
Yes you shld b bringing her to the pediatrician. For me as long as it disturbing the baby's sleep n meals it shld b seen by a dr.
i agreed that taking her to doc n doc will give her meds which might ease her pain n suffering by abit~
I guess the gp didn't expect baby to cough out milk n b disturbed in sleep? Drs won't b able to tell us everything to xpect but if once you find baby disturbed in basic needs like milk n sleep I guess it's best to do something which in this case let a pediatrician see cos most gps r not well versed in handling kids esp bbabies.
actually such things you should judge by yourself.
personally i find cough in young babies can lead to many other illnesses if you prolong the cough, so if i were you i will bring to doc using my own judgement
just brought baby to see doc she still coughing alot, as i am breast feeding her i there any food i should avoid?
its normal for babies to cough till they throw up milk as it may be triggered by the phlegm.
after baby take her medication she vomit out alot of phelgem she feeling better can sleep better now
My son just recovered by bad cough, flu and lots a phlegm. He vomited When I was feeding him, accompanied with the cough. His paed told me if he vomit due to coughing when he was feeding, vomiting 1 or 2 time is fine. Give him a 1 and a 1/2 hr break before feeding him on next feed. Beware when he has lots a phlegm. Son was given nebuliser when I brought him for check up. Too much phlegm causes him to breathe hard. Blocking his airway. Do listen to your baby's breathing. If he's wheezing, better bring him fir another check up. I went 4 times if his check up before he's totally healed.
