If yes, how?
I am trying to do that... But my baby is pretty resistant
I bought the Spiffies Tooth Wipes. So far have not't tried it
I also bought this finger toothbrush thing from Guardian. And the tooth paste. So far my boy likes this best
I also bought a box of Pigeon toothbrushes for babies in stages. My baby hates this.
My mum told me that when I was a baby, my grandma would use a clean wet cloth to clean my teeth and gums.
You can try those methods. The cloth method is the cheapest, needless to say. The Pigeon tooth brushes cost about $7.90 a box. The finger toothbrush + toothpaste costs about $20. Spiffies has 20 wipes for roughly $12.
Depends what you'd like to go for.
yes, since dear son born till now, i've been cleaning his tongue and gums before bath time..
i use a clean hanky, dip into water and clean for him... now has become a daily routine, one day clean 2 times.. =)
yeah, since NB have been cleaning pin's teeth with a cloth dipped in cool boiled water.
after she grown teeth, introduced the toothbrushes at different stages.
I am still using the finger brush with First Teeth toothpaste. Previously we were on Spiffies. Just a word of caution, check your spiffies before you use it. I found black mold growing on 1 or 2 pieces in my box. I started when baby was about 4 mths old.
Black mould?!?!?! Oh my...
NB till about 5mths old I use cloth with dipped in water....to clean tongue & gums....
After tht use spifies to clean, when my son was about 10mths old he almost had a full set of teeth, so used the finger toothbrush ....after one, use toothbrush cos' he would bite, but recently he wants to brush on his own, I know it is not clean, and he won't let me clean his tongue anymore.....
