SINGAPORE : More than 10,000 people took part in the Nike City 10K Run on Sunday morning.

Many decided to sweat it out after finding out that the air quality was in the good range on Sunday morning.

The Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) was below 40 till noon.

For some, the race was like a walk in the park and they completed it with relative ease.

But it wasn't so for some others.

Tired but happy, many felt that haze had little effect on their performance during the race.

"I've been preparing for quite a long time. I didn't want it to got to waste by not running. So I thought, why not just go ahead and run, (since) I've already paid for it," said one participant.
