hmmmm, actually most of the ppl in markets, they usually round up the amt. unless you r regular then they round down..
like the other day i was at popular buying the A4 coloured paper, n they go by weight.
the cashier weghed very fast n say its 200gm (iirc) n its $6. but if im not wrong, i knew it didnt read up to 200gm but lesser.. n she charge me for it. but my bf say nvm, its how they count.. i wanted to ask her to weigh again for me to see lorr.
but its only a few cents so i let it pass.
as of mixed rice, they usually state how much they sell. eg fish is $1.50, meat is $1.00 then vege is 50-70c or something like that.
some places r more expensive...
the goldenshoe market mixed rice stalls r SUPER CHEAP. 3dishes (of any kind) is $2 n 4 dishes is $2.50..
super super worth it!
but i ate before 3 dishes already $5 plus..
i think for others, might be just a case of bad luck..
for taxi, normally i will count first before i get off.
i think for the rest, count properly n ask the price before you purchase will be safer...
