    Instant Porridge for travelling

    Hi mommies,

Have anyone used instant porridge before? Such as Pigeon, Wakodo and it comes in sachets.

I am travelling to Taipei with my 14months daughter and she drinks 3x milk + 2x solids a day.

I heard Wakodo is the best but just wondering if you know how to prepare it?
The instructions on the box is all in Japanese and I seriously dont't know how to do it.

    Re: Instant Porridge for travelling

you can head to the japan supermarket at liang court. they sell those baby instant porridge...preparing very simple..i will use the face basin in the hotel room. then turn on the water temp flow until the hottest..wait until hottest then use the stopper n fill the basin..throw the packet food into the water n soak 5mins..ta da...ready to serve..

alternative is use the flask n boil hot boiling water if you dont't feel safe. just stop the basin water flow. add boiling water into basin. throw the packet food into the water..5mins..ready to serve.

that time i went to HK 5 days 4 nites..i bought the adult instant porridge + the wakado brand porridge then mix n feed my son..he eats alot so 1 small packet is confirm not enough n it's very expensive. now my son is 26 mths n eating rice ..my next trip to bangkok i will be buying the instant jap rice from the supermarket..then the ingredients i will just feed him what eva we eat loh...

    hope this helps.
