hi i would like to ask mummies here,
i always browse online to learn how and what i can cook my for my baby. so i went to buy bought brown rice and grind them myself wanting to make the brown rice cereal for my baby. (i read they're the same, cheaper and healthier compared to those packed in boxes).
i find it difficult to "cook" them into nice cereal texture as compared to the ones we buy and just mix with hot water. they're always sticky and lump up in pieces, it's not as smooth as the ones we buy. not to mention i need to actually cook them in a pot under low fire, mixing with just hot water is like disaster, i can taste the bits of the brown rice powder like a bunch of fine sand in my mouth.
any mummies tried that before? any tips or trick to this?
