any mummies here can give more ideas of what are the dishes can be cooked using steamer.

Lisa....thou I dun necessarily used steamer everytime but using the wok is juz the same rite ?

I steamed egg, meat (pork), chicken etc.

u mean those 3 tier steamer is it?i do confinement alone so i use e steamer to steam fish n chicken!but put e timer longer abit.den at time open n see whether is it cooked!

Hi

One of my favourite dish is steamed Cod fish. Cod fish with shredded ginger, red dates, black fungus and dried lily bulbs.

Another easy dish is - fried the poh chye with finely chopped chilli, small red onions, spring onions and some black sauce and pour it over the steamed tofu.

My dd's favourite dish is steamed sweet corn. Add sweet corn (I used the Watte brand) with some butter and steam it for 20 mins.

oh ya it's the same. coz i don't like washing wok & the cover as the basin very small then water will splash on me.

Vegetables, fish, prawns, meat and eggs.

I think the steamer can also use for buns, steam cake as well.

I dump in brocolli, carrots and other veg if I decide to go healthy that day!!

read in mag say vitamins will be best retained if steam... I never really try fish or other meat thou.. think will take very long...
