yes I m working when I did my ivf. I rested for the full 2weeks HL. Before I started ivf I changes my profession to work as Accounts/admin now. My previous job was sales & operations quite stressful, in order to have 100% concentration on my ivf I gave up my beloved
The 2 weeks rest is very very important in order to get preg I reckon. After preg going back to work you cannot be too stressful otherwise your baby will have a stressful look later. Lol
All the best to your ivf!

i am in hr, does account needs to work OT? stressful? workload heavy? actually i am quite worry and thinking of delay it to next yr but doctor doesnt agree as i am already 36. I am able to rest 2 weeks but still need to manage some works from home and after 2 weeks, i will be busy as it is near yearend, so very worr can the baby went through the stress n workload especially 1st 3 mths
I dont't work OT usually I managed my own time and try to leave on the dot. My work load not constant when there projects I will be more busy.
In fact for 1st trimester it is still ok to work so long you dont deal with heavy duty item....you have to managed your own stress well and try not to work too late cos you will be more tired than anyone. I believe if you are pregnant your colleagues will be double helpful towards you. That's the treatment I got from my colleagues.
Hi every1, im also looking at the option of IVF...but stil hesitating due to a few factors. Also worried about the injections, the ladies here seem so brave! Can any1 share how its done? sorry if i sound kinda silly to ask this..but i can't imagine how to inject and where??
Also heard about how the injections are not good for our body? Is there any truth to this, i wonder?
Salut to all ladies here, doing so much and going thru all everything that we can have our own precious baby..
Nope, i did not go for any treatment before/after ivf. Not true that acupunture will helps cos i have a gf went thru the whole process of acupunture and ivf but she did not get pregnant. I believe in fate too.
I start to feel real sleepy and gets hungry easily on my 2nd week, after breakfast and lunch i definitely need to nap for 2hrs and tea break is a must at that time. i had at least 5 meals a day it's 5 main meal not snacking type. i'm a owl but i slept between 9-10pm everyday during my rest. I'm kinda little suspect that i'm preg so i tend to be extra careful with my every moves. I did the preg test kit 1 day before i go back to hospital for blood test.
finally i am in my 2 weeks waiting now.. saw the 2 embryo placed into me.. almost tear... baby dust.... heading to KK for preggy test on 30 th sept.
Good luck all

baby dust to All of youuuuuu tooo *cant wait for Friday to come for a good new*
thanks so, so very much for your tips! I just made an appointment with Dr Loh, but it would still be a two week wait. It's alright, willing to do so.
is that lovely and super cute toddler girl in your picture your daughter conceived by IVF? how wonderful!
will update all you girls on my progress here.
good luck to all too! do share and encourage others. I have met two friends (much older; in their mid to late 30s) who failed their IVF attempts very disheartening and my heart goes out to them.
sigh. why can't we ALL have babies?!
yes she is a ivf baby a gift from Dr Loh. :P She is only 7months still a baby not toddler. keke.. my hubby is tall hence she is much taller than her age and she's very chubby too.
I have a gf who did 1times IUI and 3times IVF all failed, in the end she conceived naturally. It's all fated not you cant have babies it matter of time only.
Tips for you...usually Dr loh will not encourage you to do ivf if he finds that you are able conceive naturally and wait for 6mths. However, if you cant wait for it to happened, you have to insist you want IVF then he will fix appointment with ivf centre for you. heehee....
allrightie, all the best to you. Hope to hear good news from you soon. cheers!

your baby is really a precious from up above.... congrates....
i failed my IVF.... and also 6xIUI.... naturally also none... already 8 years .... see that many of you 1st IVF success really make me cry and touch and happy... just hope god dont wait till too long then give it to me...
mymiracle, dont b sad.....n most impt is still support from hubby.....supports from hubby beats every pain we go thru.....
I went to KK today for my appointment with Dr Loh. but, jeez...!! I had to wait 15 minutes just for registration (and I was 20 minutes early), and then I was given a queue number.. and waited.. and waited.. and I notice that my number is nowhere close to the one on the screen, so I went to ask a nurse, and she said it would take me 2 hours to see Dr Loh -_-
so, after speaking to another nurse and finding out that this is apparently normal (two+ hour wait time) for Dr Loh, I decided to leave.
I'll go the private route. I may be able to wait two hours, but once my husband is involved, he wouldn't - couldn't - wait two hours.
good luck to all you girls!!
really? but would that also mean a wait time of two hours at Thomson Medical Center? would you know when he's leaving for Thomson Medical Center?
thanks d3: you have been very helpful. you're right that this dr loh is good - as even the nurse said that he's no-nonsense type. I want that for a doctor.
at the private suite for dr loh - do you still have to wait for an hour? is that the max? if that's the case, I dont't mind going there, but if I go to dr loh through private suite, and subsequently do ivf with him at KK, will I still be subsidised by the govt (I'm a singaporean)?
