Arkin2010, you dont't have to worry about your build and appetite.
I weighed only 37 kg before I gave birth (now 37-38 kg) and I had the smallest appetite. My then 4-year-old niece ate more than me, no joke. I wasnt dieting or anything, it's just that I had a very tiny appetite since young. Was very worried about how to cope during pregnancy.
When I got pregnant, I started getting very hungry that my hubby could not believe it. I needed about 5-6 meals a day, although some meals are small ones. Sometimes, when I said I was hungry again, my hubby went "Huh? How can you be hungry??" Muhahah
Now I have been breastfeeding my son for a year and my appetite is still like when I was pregnant. =p
I didnt have much problems during my pregnancy, thank God. But I was more health conscious. Previously, I was a fussy eater, refused to eat a lot of things, like a toddler haha. During pregnancy, I tried to have balanced and regular meals. Good luck to you!
Welcome and thanks for sharing. Now people are seldom like us so skinny.
When I was like young,I dont like to eat, thus now want grow taller cannot!!Want to grow fatter at the right proportion also cannot!!!
I guess I now cant put on weight is due to working and sleep late, sometimes 1am or 2 am.Plus I always stress self even on little matter.Got gastric pain and stomach sensitive - gassy/bloated/diarrhoea
people would tell me you always sick,so weak and skinny, how to have baby?
Are you a stay-at-home mum?And you have 1-year-old baby?
Care to share eg Were you a subsidised government patient?
Who was your Gynae?
Which hospital you chose and how you rate their service?
Overall your total Bill before you claimed?
Was natural labour or epi?
Have pregnancy change you?
Glad to find other petite ladies here. After weaning my boy off breastfeeding recently, my big appetite dropped and my weight dropped to 39.6kg, so worried as I'm planning for baby #2. Trying to eat more carbo now.
(I zzz late sometimes cos co-sleep with sticky toddler until 10-11am.)
Have a great week.
My weight now around 39-40kg.
Planning for your baby #2,steady ,a step by a step ..mood good + sleep well + healthy body + eat well + moderate exercise + mind relax + timing = your baby #2

Reading your blog on 23/08,feel your baby is very blessed with good life !
Wish I could grow taller too haha.
Yup, my son's just turned 1 and I am on no-pay leave for 1 year to take care of my son and will go back to work next year.
Dr Vincent Lee is my gynae and I gave birth at Mount Alvernia.
I would say he's not bad, nice and sof-spoken, took time to answer my queires and concerns. But sometimes, I wished he could tell me beforehand what to expect, as in , what procedures he would be carrying out, being a first-time mother. Mount Alvernia was great. I had a nice stay there. Food was great too, for both my hubby and me.
Think paid about 3k plus after claims and was 5k?? before claims if I am not wrong.
My baby's edd was on national day but he was so comfy inside, went to induce. then Dr Lee said dilation not enuff after a night so advised me to have cesarean, phew, glad it was all over.
Think most if not all mothers will say that motherhood will change a woman. My priorities have changed a lot and my focus is my family. Motherhood is really the best thing in the world!
There is a topic by mom_of 4 (above our thread ) regarding buying a " pregnancy Bible " online that costs near $40 that has detailed info preparing our bodies for pregnancy...thought of buying ...but I have bought 2bb books yet to read finish...hee
Anyone bought and read already?
I am reading other postings suddenly came across to see you replying a forum user that you used to smoke for 11years..then stopped when you were pregnant..then you wrote that you told your hubby that you might unable to fully stopped after birth of your son.
Since you can already do it to stop during your pregnancy, dont restart smoking again,Dont see the cigarette,if tempted, move away.
Nausea: I couldn't stand the existing toothpaste, and felt better after changing brands. To prevent nausea, never be hungry, so eat something every few hours and keep healthy snacks in bag. Drinking and eating 30min apart helps too, e.g. Eat rice without soup, drnk soup after some time:
Menstrual cramps: I used to have very bad cramps on the first day, with vomiting, so painkiller doesn't help since it would be vomited out. Avoiding dairy 1week before menses and Pilates helped me. traditional chinese medicine medicine helped too but not for pregnant ladies.
