hi ladies, i am worrying..look like its a M* because the gynae can only see the bubble which is 1.5cm n no sac.. very worrying.. and the gynae advise me to expect the worst.. the scan only measure the bubble which is 1.5cm and state its 5w5day..which the gynae told me is either the growth is very slow, if not, its a confirm M...
sigh.. anyone having the relate experience to share? right now very very very sad..
sometimes base on our own calculation is not accurate.. that time my gynae count mine is around 5week + to 6 weeks but my 1st scan turn out to be around 4week...
my last mense is 22.02.09. fr LMP till now, i am now 8 to 9 weeks.
but if assuming late ovulating, which may happen during 2nd week of march , i should be just 7 weeks...
i am just wondering whether the equipment is accurate in measuring the size of the bubble and the no of weeks it is in now.
my mense cycle period is quite irregular.. the longest is 37 days not going beyond 30 days ..
by the way, my breast no longer feel sore/tender.just slight discomfort...
So, I think that is normal bah.
As you mention you menses is very irregular, maybe you are late ovulation and late conceive ..
dont't worry so much!
Talk about the bubble, I will assume is a sac loh!
Because your baby is too small and the ultrasound still can't see the shape of baby.
When is the next appointment?
Maybe next appointment you can see your baby heartbeat .
is sac = yolk?
i only see one circle which i assume is bubble there is nothing inside the bubble . i find it quite big at 10.5mm cos 2 week before, the bubble was 1.5mm
my next appointment is this coming sat.. which i dont know want to go or not.. thought of dragging it to a few days more later....the way my gynae put it, make me feel quite depress ... asking me to expect for the worst..

I still remember when I 1st visit to gynae my sac is about 13mm.
Than 2 weeks later for 2nd visit, the heartbeat can detect and can see the baby shape . (although like a small aliane)
If I didn't remember wrong you last visit is last Saturday, right?
Maybe you wait until next visit than see how is it. Because I believe the ultrasound for every gynae is almost the same.
Or, change the appointment to next Saturday ! On that time you are almost 7-8 weeks .
After confirm your baby can detect heartbeat, maybe you can consider change gynae if you feel this gyane make you uncomfortable...
the gynae base on her calculation and those kind of cycle chart. its the scanning equipment that measure the bubble to be 5w5d.. so left me wondering. assuming if i really ovulate late, i should be as per what the scanned has measured .
hoping the scan is more accurate . i also thinking the same too, to postpone to next week instead of coming this week.
if the sac is not growing, i will have some sysptom like those cramps+bleed etc isnt it.... i will observe more in this area
thanks ladies for the advise.. hope it will be good news
I then saw another gynae 2 weeks later and this time tho' the scan was not clear, I could at least see my baby's heartbeat.
Are you still spotting? My gynae said as long as no bleeding, then dont't worry too much.
But my 2nd gynae did the normal abdomen scan 2 weeks later, not so clear but had heartbeat flicking on the screen. He's the one who told me that if no bleeding then dont't worry. And avoid pineapple, caffeine.
After 2 weeks later, definately your baby heartbeat can be detect.
Because the baby heart is start growing about 5-6 weeks..
Is not the problem of gynae, even you go back to the same gynae your baby sure can detect the heartbeat after 2 weeks if everything is fine.

just to check, is it a need to do the blood test? i read some of the forumers had went for it and about the HCG level.
can i request the gynae to do it for me if he didnt do it? and for what purpose?
