Understand from gynae that those "lump lump/jelly jelly" type of substance everytime when our AF comes r actually leftovers discharge of previous AF cycle that was not flow out of our body properly.
She mentioned that normal AF should not have much of those substance n the blood colour should b fresh red instead of brownish red.
For me (PCOS type), for each AF, i will sure have some "lump lump/jelly jelly" type of substance. The blood is also brownish red at the beginning, then after that, it will b fresh red. But sometimes towards the end, the blood is brownish red too.
Very curious if you all experience the same thing as me since all of us r trying so hard to get preggie. Does it mean having those systoms per above = hard to get preggie (means we got problem)?
For me, 1st-2nd day is from dark to bright red then 3rd day onwards is dark brownish red oredi.. I thought it is normal?!
I used to have those lumpy things during my AF. When I went for checkup when I trying to concieve, my gynae also said AF not supposed to have those lumpy things.
So he did a scan for me and found cysts. I underwent an op to remove them and my gynae further told me that due to the clots that one of my tubes was blocked that's why hard to conceive.
He wanted to put me on medication, a series of 4 injections to stop my menses so that the clots will clear out. I didn't do it. My hubby said still got one tube is ok, so we just try for another 6 mths then in the end I conceive.
The condition is called endometriosis. Another symptom of it is painful sex and painful cramps during menses.
ya ya...when i was younger (LOL!!!!), its more....but now OLD OLD liaooo, the lumps also not so much liaoooo......
ya ya ya, the gynae also told me that i got cysts lehhh.....but i did not clear it cos gynae say its ok.......so i did not go for ops to clean it........
after reading all your comments, so its normal to have abit of the lumps yaaaa.....scare me
Actually clear it is good.. for your health sake also
Also if dont't clear and if you do conceive, the cysts might affect growth of baby if the cysts are in the womb. Coz cysts are growth mahh.. So will fight with space with baby.
me also encounter the same thing. so i went to see gyane! she suggest me to remove it cuz my cyst is rather big. 5cm..so i just hav my ops last month. this month menses came also have a bit of lumpy thingy...i was thinking hw come after the ops still hav the lumpy thing again?
Hi winnie gal, me after op also got lumpy lumpy things... after another few more mths no more.. It will slowly disappear. That was for my case . That time my cyst was 3cm.

but can say 50% of the time, you can feel alot gushing out when you pee, do you all feel the same??????????????????
For all asking about the op to remove cysts, it depends where you're doing it, that would determine costs.
I did mine at GlenE. Charged about $6k+ for day surgery + half day ward. I managed to claim half from insurance. So I paid $3k plus.
lawla dearie, I also had those clots during AF. Like many others here, I also had more of those when I was younger. Anyway, I also only tried for 2mths then got Alicia. So I dont think it's a problem...
Mine was company insurance because at that point of time I didn't have hospitalisation plan.
What you mean by general insurance? Hmmm.. My endowment plan is linked to a medical plan but that operation is not covered by it. It only covers major illnesses.
My life insurance also doesn't cover as the growth was not life endangering.
According to my relatives, there're different types of cysts. There are "water" cysts and "blood" cysts. According to them, blood cysts would cause problems in conceiving so it's best to get it removed and tested.
According to my relatives too, you can use traditional chinese medicine to treat the cysts. One of my aunties had a cyst of 5cm. She took some herbal things and her cysts reduced to 2.5cm after some months.
i paid around 4k to remove the cyst.. mine is done by Dr Irene Chua at TPS... its depend where the ops got any complication anot heard frm my gyane...
medisave paid half lolz.. then another half i claim from my company...
I never stay in any ward just a day surgey...
Ya.. i heard frm my friend she having been seeing sinseh for her cyst n her cyst hav become smaller in size...
after remove gyane say can have baby as usual.. she say hope to strike after few month you remove it.. cuz she never gurantee the cyst won't come back again....
i love my hubby~
after the ops she even show me the pics so yucky....
diymummy: you operate before you have your son or after you have your son?
me just started to tried to have baby tis month..sigh dont know when then can strike!
