Hi, i'm new to the forum. For this Physician Tan kian sing, is he capable? Is the charges expensive?
Hi Catherine, so far we have seen him for more than 6 mths but with no result still. So I have no comments about him. But I have heard some of his patient actually got pregnant after a few visits. I guess this is individual bah. His charges, i'm not too sure if it is considered expensive as I did not compare him with other physician.
He will prescribe medicine and do accupuncture also.
Hi babyfross, thanks for your comments. I do hear my neighbour talks about him. Just double confirm whether he is good or not. I have seen a few chinese doctor but no use. I've been to see my previous gynae still no use after having done the ultra-sound and medication(it costs me about 2k for almost 15 visits 'very expensive'). Very despair.
This is my first time reading this forum. I have been trying to concieve-ing for past few months with any success. Doctor said that I need to slim down in order to have regular period.
May I know if anyone have similar situations? Any recommendations?
Hi everyone.. had just started visiting the traditional chinese medicine a few weeks ago and is drinking their chinese herbs on a daily basis.. however, since i started taking their medicine, i missed my menses for this month and had checked negative for pregnancy. Anyone have similar encounter? Thanks in advance.
Just wondering anyone seen Tan Qui Lan traditional chinese medicine ? She was previously at Thong Ji, but now at Nex Serangoon.
Tan Qiu Lan is now working in a traditional chinese medicine Medical in Nex??
I was seeing Tan Qiu Lan from Teck Chua for a year and drank her brew medication but it didn't help. I heard she is no longer at Teck Chua Medical Hall @ Hougang Ave 5.
Tan Qiu Lan Description:
Pretty Old already
Speak softly and slowly
She is a nice lady but I think she just gives standard prescription for all her patients.
Yes, Tan Qiu Lan is now in NEX.
When did you see her ? Why did you say she just gives standard prescription ?
I am new here. was trying to conceive through traditional chinese medicine method cos should be cheaper than Western medication etc. Was wondering whether i should try Dr Tan Kian Sing at Clementi OR Dr Chen Qiu Mei in NTU/Chinatown. But heard review mention that DR Chen would want her patients to visit her fortnightly, what if one dont;t have so much leave? I am lost and stressed now.
Anyone can advise and help? Or anyone had better chinsese sinseh for conceiveing to intro that we can visit even after office hour or on weekend?
Can check out this site for traditional chinese medicine .
Can leave or view reviews on the physicians.

Just had a MC and am planning to go see her on recommendation of my massage lady, heard from a friend who also saw her at NEX recently, they had problem making her understand them and them understanding her
I went to this same traditional chinese medicine and met Dr. Su. It was recommended by my colleague who got pregnant in the same month she visited her.
I managed to conceive on the 2nd month after I visited her (the 1st month my hubby was out stationed for 1 month so we didnt get to try at all).
She is really good and explained what the medicine is for each week. You have to visit her every fornightly.
She charged me $22 for 2 weeks supply of medicine (It is in powder form).
She also treated my hubby who has low sperm count. She charged him $45 for 1 month supply of pills.
She will condition your body to prepare your womb to conceive..

And like your friend said- got communication prob.. She dont't seem to hear or understand my qn..
Maybe just me that is unlucky.. But never return after 2nd visit..
We decided to give her a try in the end . Stuck with her for 1 month but finally got a bit scared of it and finally decided to switch. Like you say she did not take notes or keep cannot find my record eventhough its right in front of her, did take my pulse some times and had to be reminded to. Took her medication for 1 month but decided to finally switch because was getting worried
Now seeing Dr Loh from Thong Ji at her private clinic. Thong ji had 2 Loh 2 Tan. We are seeing the Loh Kim Gek at her private clinic now. At least she seem able to communicate, she insist not prescribing any medication until I went for a test after my next menses and give her the report. Was recommended her by my aunt who was in turn recommended to her by a doctor in Chung Hwa free clinic for some problem. Hoping for the best
Tan Siew Lan , Tan Siew Buoy, Loh Kim Yan, Loh Kim Gek
But i have not found any posting from any of the forums of people seeing her. I am seeing her because of my aunt recommedation. Only report I found of her online was this interview in 2010
Baby joy via TCM
I am seeing her at
Gim EE Traditional Chinese Medical Hall
#03-86A People's Park Centre
90234746 or 97660189
Best if you call her firs for an appt. and not just pop by, She does not seem to be in the clinic unless she has a prior appt.
So far only 1 appt now going to wait for my menses to come then go for medical checkup then go for 2 appt with the report
Hi, I'm new here. May I know if anyone has any reviews on Dr Xia Rong from Eu Yan Sang Paragon. And I wonder what the charges are like since that is a EYS Premier clinic. Thank you!
Anyone know of a good singseh (traditional chinese medicine) at Toa Payoh who can help me to conceive?
I went to this Singseh for 2 months and she has helped me to conceive within 2 months.
My colleague who has fertility issues went to visit her and conceived within 2 month too and her friend conceived within the same month.
Another forumer who went to the same singseh also said that his wife conceived within the same month they visited her.
Not sure if these are all pure coincidences but if you keen, here's the address and contact no.
