My hubby and I got married early this year. We have been trying hard to conveive.
My last menses was 26th June. Have been testing at home a few times but negative. Last testing was 2 days ago.
My colleague told me that when she was pregnant, GP or other doctors told her the testing was negative. Until her helper asked her to seek help from gynae, then she realised she was pregnant. Her egg was too small thus normal testing can't detect. She also told me that sometimes if the womb is weak, it might not be able to hold the egg and if never seek help and it drop, the egg will be gone.
What should i do now? continue to wait or visit a gynae? Any recommendation? And is it better to get referral letter and visit a gynae at 1 of the government hospital?
Anyway, i have the same problem early this year, company doc and polyclinic also detect negative and therefore gave me medicine to resume my menses. That time my menses late for 2 months plus to 3.
If you go get referral from polyclinic, the appointment date that they give you to visit doctor at hospital can be weeks/months later but at subsidized rates. If you suspect that you are pregnant but urine test shows negative all the while, you should go visit doctor and do a blood test which will be more accurate. However, you must bear in mind that it is possible to miss your menses for months at a go. I ever missed mine for 4 months over and few other friends also missed theirs for various number of months before. Well, all the best to you and hope it's a good news instead. If not, gambatte!! ^^
Thanks for the advices.
How much does visiting a gynae cost? For private and government hospital.
