JYSP, you only need to worry if you can't conceive after trying for a year. If you are really worry, you may approach a gynae for check up. Currently I am with a Gynae who told me that I only have half the chance of getting pregnant as compare to other ladies, I am also with a traditional chinese medicine to 'tiao' my body. Good news is, after visiting this gynae for about 4 months, I got pregnant but then the bad news is, I didn't know I was pregnant so miscarried it. Now still trying hard to get pregnant again.....

Im a newbie here and reading all your posts do make me feel beta. Me too trying for almost 8 mths now. Im having long period cycle like 40 plus days which the dates always jump arnd every month. And last month i totally missed it;hoping that i wld be preg, had a check and it was neg. was given med to induce period. any1 out der who had sucess trying to concieve, pls share with me your ideas. Any gynae to suggest or any other methods. its frustrating =(

my menstruation cycle also like you....40days to 36 days to 42 days to 48 days etc etc...irregular...

what kind of trying to concieve method you using? that time i used cervical mucus method....

my mensus is also super irregular!!!!!!!!! it ranges from 35++ to 48days.....i had my LONGEST mensus tis month which is 51days.

We'r on unprotected xxx since Jan 08. We anyhow try but not successful. I also got my ovulation timing wrong.

Went to see gynae for a check-up in July 08. Then after all those tests, scanning, Doc gave me clomid in Sept 08. I was on clomid for 3mths until Jan 09 but, my mensus did not improve at all. During that 3mths where i took clomid, my mensus was 35days, 38days n 51days (i was sick twice in Jan, so my mensus went mad mad).

Each time, me n hubby try about 3times per month during the ovulation timing which the Doc suggested. But, no news at all.

So now, Doc is starting injection (follitropin) since pills (clomid) does not work on me. The Doc is suggesting SO-IUI too but my hubby is rather against it. I know he's upset cos there's no result but he just dont understand that it will definitely take avg 6mths-1yr process. He just put the blame on me cos i'm fat n my "rotten" egg.

He told me that he doesn't want to carry with the process n its expensive.

My heart just sank. he just simply fail to understand that its not those 1 time = bingo type of issue.

I know he's stress at work, but i'm too. Those friends around us r getting pregnant but we'r not (as if its totally my fault). He just cant understand that it takes 2hands to clap. Those friends, both hubby n wife r healthy with no issues n they tried for 6mths-9mths. But for my case, Doc already identify 2 problems with my egg, definitely i will take much longer than those healthy couples. But he just cant get it into his head.

I'm quite lost now. Since he's not interested in doing it anymore, should i still carry on with the treatment ? I've already paid $300 for 6days of injections (each injection on daily basis n the injection costs $50 for 50ml of follitropin).

I was thinking of seeking 2nd opinion but since he already said that he's not keen, should i still tink of going or just stop ?

i tried using the ovulation calender.. but everytime the dates jump then neva strike also.. sigh.. so complicated.. cervical mucus i not very sure.. must try already.. now i waiting for my period to come.. i totally missed last month.. i went crazy.. i really hope no seriousl prob with my system =(
my mother in law suggested i go for the massage. you know the malay lady do want..she said for alot of ppl, it works.. im trying to be relaxed now.

actually i have friends encountering menstruation cycle problems too.. but heard that she took this traditional chinese medicine supplement called F-Essence and her condition is gradually improving.. =)

my colleagues also suggest me to take "bai fong want" from Eu Yan Seng. I took for 3 days continuously (i took about 20 tiny pills each time) n i fall sick.ZzZZZzzZZZ.....

dont know izzi i'm not suitable or what...i rem when i was in sec sch, my mum also gave me that, but i always fall sick after i eat it. So my mum stop giving to me. But that was LONG time ago, tats y i try again. but still sick.zzzz.....maybe i should drink LOTS LOTS of water

Deary... Bai Foong want cannot eat everyday one. Suppozed to be once a week nia if I did not not remember wrongly as I took that before I had my dear daughter. Now have been waiting for good news also for at least 8 mths . Just have to stay positive bah...

ya ya...its 1 bottle ONCE per week (1 bottle got LOTS LOTS of pills)......i've problems swallowing pills.....so i took 20pills for 3 days....its not even 1/3 of the pills inside...then i fall sick .....

me really not sure if its really too heaty or its just co-incident that i fall sick......i thought of trying 20pills again but on alternative basis........

If you have prob swallowing pills, then I suggest you take other alternative. Me myself hate 'bai feng want' as well. There's this chinese herb called ' zhen', I usually boil and drink it every month after menses are cleared. This herbal soup is something equivalent to 'bai feng want', and some even said it's better than 'bai feng want'. Maybe you can try? I dont know 'dang gui' will help or not as well, but I take ' zhen' every month is sufficient for me.

Eu Yan Seng got sell zhen ???? izzi those powder, then you add water n boil it arr ?? izzi those 3bowls cook into 1 bowl type ?????

thou im not a chinese, i've read up online that 'dang gui' do helps alot for those women with irregular menses. But personally have not take yet.

It's not powder type. It's mixed herbs, usually in ready packaging. I think Eu Yan Sang should have, but think will be a bit costly. Can get from ordinary medicine hall...say wanna get ' zhen' soup. They usually will offer you ready packaging. Get smallest package will do already cuz dont need to drink so much. I usually use slow cooker to boil, can have 2 relatively big bowls. Add in an egg to consume together. Add in about 3-4 dried dates as well as to make it tastes a little sweet. The original ' zhen' tastes not really pleasant tho.

I remembered when I was a teenager, my mum tried to boil me 'dang gui' soup with chicken. But it's not suitable for me as it's 'heaty' for my body. So in the end, everytime taken it will fall sick and had to see doc! Since then, I did not take anymore but I consumed it during confinement period.

I think some traditional chinese herbs are not suitable for some individuals. It all depends. If after consume fall sick or have any prob, should get back to the chinese physician to indentify and find out the probs etc.

hi thr ladies, wanna share wit you rgds to my probs, me n hubby have seen a doc but not a gynae.. First of all i told the doc about my very heavy flow menses then she say its fine but if it still goes on then i have to eat the medication to lighten the flow then about my hubby prob, he feels that he has unusual testicles size which is its a lil bigger then the other n ask the doc rgds to it n she say if almost to a yr if i dont conceive still then most probably we have to go for infertility chk up. So doc ask me wen was my LMP n i told her that its was on 14jan then she ask me if my menses are regular n i say yes very regular.. So she might afraid that my hubby has a low sperm count n told us not to have frequent sex n try to do it only like 2x a week.. ok.. Anybody have experience tis before? want other alt to boost male fertility??

add egg ??? how should i cook it ??? break the egg n mix with the zhen? can add "ping tang" (sugar cubes) or not ar? kekekeke.....

heard from my colleague that the guy should wear boxer instead of briefs. then eat more fruits. my friend's hubby also has low sperm count, he went traditional chinese medicine to "tiao" his body.

I normally boil 1 small package, 2 bowls of water. Is relatively big bowl. Divide 2 days to drink. I normally drink at night. you boil in slow cooker, adjust to 'auto', cook for about 6-8 hours. Throw everything in the slow cooker, together with about 3-4 dried dates (mi zao) with about 2 bowls of 3 quarter water in. 'Bing tang' (sugar cubes) are not advisable to put as it's not healthy and sweetening. Dried dates should be fine. around 7th hour, put in 1 to 2 eggs (your preference) in. At 8th hour when the soup is almost done, take out the hard boiled egg(s) and peel it. Put back the egg(s) in and can ready for drink.

I think 1 small package should costs around $5-8? Not very sure tho cuz I buy back in M'sia one :P (I bought about RM 5++) Yes, ' zhen' is pronounced as '8' and 'true' as in Mandarin. I think you can always ask the medicine hall ppl to guide you how to cook. As for 'dang gui', I never cook before, so I'm unsure how it should be boiled/cooked. Ask around?

If have irregular mens, that means more that 21 days cycle, what I recommend is do one day, rest two days, then do again, keep repeating the whole cycle.

And every time before do, go toilet, after do, put legs up for as long as you can 10-20 mins so that the sperm can flow inside.

The woman should keep the stomach warm, either put warm pet etc, if the womb is warm, also easier to get pregant.

they went KK for 9mths...but, noting much has been done.....for the 1st few mths, its just to monitor the wife's temperature, scan tis n that....for the guy's side, they hardly do anyting...the doc did examine him but couldn't find the cause of 'zero" sperm count.....the doc did advise him to wear boxer n eat lots of fruits. But its not working. The doc suggest to do an operation but both hubby n wife find it too extreme.

They decide to switch to traditional chinese medicine (zhong hua @ clementi) to "tiao" his body instead.
