Hi audience mama - a big consoling *hugs*. I'm very sorry. Please do take fabulous care of yourself now so your body could be all prepped and raring to go the next round. We can only do what we can do and try our best, whatever happens inside is beyond our earthly control. Look forward positively, what's done cannot be undone, the past is waters under the bridge. *another big hugs*
Hi Gabrielle - echoing the views of the other ladies. I think you should first see a gynae to do a full body through check. Perhaps you have a cyst that is blocking the way hence all the armies have a roadblock? For instance, I had a polyp at the entrance of my cervix hence 2 months of bd went down the drain. I needed to remove the polyp. I also had a hsg done. Also, your hubby should also do a spermy test. Maybe you should consult a fertility specialist not a gynae too if you are more anxious.
Perhaps it can all be addressed with simple medication and surgery not invasive like ivf. And I reckon consider the above first. Then IUI. Ivf should be your very last resort. Talk to friends who have done ivf - it is not as simple as it sounds or how celebrities make it sound. It's actually a series of injections and extraction and it is not painless, both physically and emotionally. That's the personal advice from this 35 year old aunty.
