Lishan: if its a 24 days (minus normal 14 days of luteal phase), you probably o on cd 10. So yeah you can try test today so not to miss it.

(you can buy those cheapos opk to try out first.. you can start test today n if you start getting 2 line you can test twice a day until 2 dark lines)..

24 days seems quite short. But if your on 28 days monthly then its pretty perfect! Hee. (Cox I got super long cycles)

    Welcome lishan.

Agree with tricky. You can start about now on the opk. Did you visit any gynae on your cycle irregularity?

Hello lishan! Yeah you can start opk-ing now... Mid afternoon and evening pee - like 12 noon and 7pm? Not first morning pee.

Quincy - let us know how your doc visit went!

Dragontail - oh my. you are so healthy... Hee hee, have a nice nite with the hubby.

littlehamster: my uterus has already been scanned to be retroverted so it's tilted

Re: We are trying to concieve-ing!

Did you ask what's the implication on conception for retroverted uterus, quincy? Maybe it's not much of a worry?

To add on, I have read many cases of tilted uterus with no problem on conceiving, nor carrying the baby through. And tilted uterus is actually very common.

Re: We are trying to concieve-ing!

quincy, did doc say your is very tilted towards the back or just very slight? my gynae mentioned to me that retroverted uterus is very common though and that last time ppl used to believe that a retro uterus makes it hard to conceive but he said it's not true. There's been no studies of difficulty conceiving linked to retro uterus so i dont't think it's an issue.

as for hsg, as long as you relax, it should be fine, it's just like a normal vaginal ultrasound, except this one probably goes in a bit deeper. If you tense up, even a woman with a normal uterus would feel pain...so deep breath....relax

hello all....thanx for all the warm welcome! i feel so loved here

i very kiasu, i bought the expensive cb digital opk, i paid at a disc of $55.55, was $73. LOL!
anyway...as long as it works and i will claim from husband. hahaha!

was reading the leaflet in the box earlier, it says that i should not pee 4hrs before the test and it's best to do it in the morning. however, littlej says i should do in the afternoon/evening. very confusing eh...can someone enlighten me?

btw...any links where i can buy the cheapo opk online?

dragon: no eh, i did not visit a gynae for it. i did ask my GP before, she says that as long as i menstruate on a regular basis of between 25-35days, i'm normal.
bleahz...but now this trying to concieve things is really driving me abit gaga,
i feel so lost but my husband is forever busy at work. haizz...

lishan0613: interesting thing you pointed out. regarding when to pee, previously i had opk from doctor. so i followed his instructions. how about bringing your opk to doc and ask his opinion? hehe

    We are trying to concieve-ing!

Lishan - I used clearblue opk too and for 2 months. First month I used first morning pee and no results - all circle. Second month - I peed at 12 and 7pm and got one smiley face at 7pm so that was why i advised twice a Day. it was also mentioned in this forum earlier that first morning pee is for pregnancy Test not opk. anyway, you can give it a shot? You can go to the clearblue website to find out when you should start testing too. I followed the dates prescribed by the website.

    morning !
lishan0613: for mine doc instruct me to test anytime after 1st 3 pee of the day just fyi.
if you miss this time there's always the next cycle. gambatte ^^
how long have you been trying? i did research online and that if you have been trying at least 1 year, better find a gynae. and you say your hubby has been working. t-tc requires check ups on both parties. get him involved
