Dragontail!!!!! Your news brought a big smile to my face!!! What an egg-luscious news!!! Happy happy!!! Awww... Did you feel like baby when you got a jab in your butt? Heehee... Anyway... Chiong !!!! Go go go!!!

Yes dr chew's charges are very reasonable. Hahaha like I mentioned - really half price compared to dr chan. And yes he has sat clinic. And I felt comfortable he is willing to explore all natural means and if really exhausted all ways to go for natural then turn to invasive means. But of course - that said- always do homework when doc ask you to go for any surgery etc and seek second opinion. Yes - he helped me and I would recommend him on that count. There could be other docs who are as fab but I never seen them =)

Everytime I use clearblue on fmu - always no work . Like I had smiley on evening pee the last time. Hahaha.

Quincy - hope all is ok.

    We are trying to concieve-ing!

Btw - a mummy question - any mummies here used a playpen cum bassinet as a bed instead of getting a crib?

I have feedback that using a playpen would work just as well... And in fact better esp when the dude knows how to turn so won't knock into the wooden grilles of a crib.

Re: We are trying to concieve-ing!

Oh ya, littlej, I did go with my friend couple of years ago to the cobbler at raffles place. Yes he su-kak-su-kak then open for business. I dont work near there and I really dislike parking at raffles area (parking expen$$ive). Hmmm better consolidate some of my shoes that need to be fixed and go to one that's easy to park!

happilymarried, oh he didnt measure my lining. Maybe he will on Thur?

littlehammie, since egg should pop within 36hours after the trigger shot, I reckon I should O by Wed? That makes me o on CD17. Lets see if I have a temp hike on Thur.

So Kate is expecting a boy or a girl?

Thanks quincy. Good that you both took the leap to seeing a counsellor. And it shows improvement! I feel it will be nice you both sit down together and go through the homework, before the session tomorrow. I guess there will always be moments of "agree to disagree". But that's the whole purpose of counselling to help you... to open our heart and mind to seeing bigger picture.

littlej, hee thanks. I was quite shocked when nurse told me it's gonna be on the butt. Dont know why... when jab on the butt, we just kinda feel more vulnerable? Haa! I'm ok with jab pain. Just cant stand watching it. Not that I can bend much to see my butt in full view.

Tomorrow is Rav's detailed scan cum gender reveal!!! Woo hoo.

I also quite bird.... I got a feeling I missed someone out too, for tomorrow's. Am I right I missed out someone?

The issue with playpen is that there are some brands which the mother has to bend low in order to attend to the baby as they dont have many adjustable heights like baby cot and that is not good for the back in the long run. For baby cot, you could buy bumper which is placed around the baby cot and thus prevent the baby to knock against the wood when they turn

Re: We are trying to concieve-ing!

littlehamster: haha! to counselor? I am seeing gynae tomorrow by the way. going to have a long talk with my gynae.

superwomancqy: yes I am quite lucky I got a hubby willing to go counseling with me. actually this is our 1st homework so I didn't plan to discuss with hubby for just this time. I have a topic on hand, that is about in-laws. subsequently I will ask hubby about it.

we have been for counseling for quite some time now. so we're ok now. dont't worry about us
even though we're ok, our counselor still wants to continue to see us. she says she wants to see my hubby finally willing to go for counseling out of his own accord and not for me haha.

recently saw someone her baby was sleeping in playpen and fell out at 4am
so I guess playpen is strictly for playing. baby cot is the correct one for sleeping.

    Thanks wantonmee!

I dont remember I was taught about the birds and the bees in school days. And never studied bio before. It is only recent years when I started trying to concieve, I got to learn more about reproduction, thanks to this thread! If only back then I had these youtube videos to watch. It's like all in a nutshell! Find these very educational (probably something I will show to my child about birds and the bees next time).

    Ovulation:
    Ovulation - YouTube

Conception: (and I like the way it is narrated in the beginning "It's The Story of All of Us". And boy oh boy, it's tough being a sperm!)
    Fertilization - YouTube

I'm using a playard that can be adjusted to become playpen once baby gets older. Save money. It is foldable too so you dont't end up stuck with a cot when your baby outgrows it.

    We are trying to concieve-ing!

Fang Ning - sorry can't help you on that question cuz ahhaha I dont stay near chua chu kang. Anyway gynaes I find good are dr chew (glen e) and dr tc chang (Thomson Medical Center) and dr chan (glen e).

Wa Dragontail - those are many oysters. Your hubby is so pampered! Hahahah my man only had tentex then - I didn't feed him any aphrodisiacs =p

Dragontail - then maybe you might wanna go to the shoe place at taka?!? Easy to park and can shop whilst you wait. Hahaha.

I read bumpers are not recommended cuz they may cause cot death?!?

Shez - is your appt with dr chan this coming sat or the sat that just passed?

Quincy - how long have you and hubby been seeing a counsellor? Anyway... Once you both jointly feel the issues are resolved, perhaps better to remember what you both have been taught and manage on your own. I read somewhere that it is not ideal to be continually dependent on a counsellor. A relationship is between two persons not two and a half. And a good counsellor guides you back to the path and allows both to walk this path together henceforth. My two cents. No offense yeah?

Hmm - shall we take a bet if rav is having a boy or girl? =p

Re: We are trying to concieve-ing!

Littlej: you r exicted for rav baby p*rn pics right. Hahaha. Aniway my mum keep insist me to get a playpen. :/ so I also prefer playpen as can be use longer n its easily foldable n keep. Lol. I have friends using cot n some using playpen. So I guess there r pros n cons for each. See whats your need?

Im so damn bored. Its the 4th week day 1 that my hubby is back late! And all these while im having n settling my dinner myself.

Dragontail: you bd date is today? :x

Fangning: you may want try some traditional chinese medicine that we all have tried n conceived before, or go to the gynae fertility specialist that some r seeing? My traditional chinese medicine is not near to you. Mine at clementi. I think dragontail traditional chinese medicine is at amk or smth.

Actually not only bumper that may cause cot death...mattress, pillow, blanket could also cause cot death. .rule of thumb I guess is not to leave your child alone ..always check on him/her to ensure that everything is okay..may seems abit kiasu but better be safe than sorry

    We are trying to concieve-ing!

Hahahah I think rav is going to have a girl!!!

Dragontail - oooo you never watch phantom before? Would be good cuz this is an Andrew Lloyd webber production. I'm watching it too - second time... The last time was when I was still in school!

Hehehe Dragontail has her entire week planned out. Secretary OT tues and wed then secretary go out to 混混 on thurs and fri! =p

Happilymarried - your appt is on fri right? Listen to some relaxing music. Hmm if you have iTunes - you can buy this album - I find it quite nice and muffin always kicks to it (but always out of timing!) - http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00000IIUP/ref=redir_mdp_mobile

Quincy - let us know what doc says tomorrow!

Thanks Natalie!!! Ya I know so many things can cause cot death!!! Ahhhh... Confusing manz... Think best is Tilam . I see my baby photos - I slept on Tilam =p oh well. My old man is getting quite confused by me too. Oops.

Rav - I also settle dinner alone since sat night. Today is the third night. Yawn. But hahhaa also good cuz I have you all for company and can freely use my phone whilst eating. =)
