Actually Dr Loh would be my very first choice back then (highly recommended by my gal friend). But I knew he is in Thomson Medical Center so that's no no for me. (He used to be at Kandang Kerbau Hospital when he was her gynae).

He is a man of few words...so do get your questions prepared. I think you are in good hands under him

Actually my concern on Thomson Medical Center is not the mixed up (isolated case). More on the horrid parking system. Lol.

Going to watch The Conjuring later. Heard it's super scary. I like!

quincy - dr loh is very nice.. he is not the pushy sort & I am very comfy with him! but as usual with all gynaes.. dont waste time once you r in.. explain your situation clearly, what tests you have done including traditional chinese medicine reports (or what traditional chinese medicine says) (bring along your hsg result also & just ask him what does he propose you should do...

the horrid mix up was a one off case. that ivf clinic has moved out of cramp Thomson Medical Center & into a beautiful big space in novena specialist centre. they changed heads too.. dr loh is now in charge of that ivf clinic.

dr loh novena clinic accept credit card. his Thomson Medical Center clinic only cash n nets.

I hate the parking at Thomson Medical Center also.. I done my first 3 iuis there... imagine shuttling in between Thomson Medical Center & novena specialist centre by taxi!! carefully holding a test tube of hubby's washed sperm in my hands.. the test tube has to remain standing upright.. OMG! a nightmare!!

quincy - so iui is for those with unexplained female infertility or male infertility (abnormal sperms but must have some % of normal sperms) where instead of you producing 1 egg by yourself... you either take clomid or injections to stim to get 2 or max 3 eggs.. then time the eggs to pop & perform iui.

    I attach my graph

ebichan: my guess is #13. btw your pre-o temps looks high. did you do anything special like to make your body warmer so the bbt fluctuates?

Happilymarried, it does sound like a horror flick on the shuttling between novena and Thomson Medical Center! But how come you had to run two places?

I'm doing the scan this Wed morning.

Ebichan, looks like 2nd red line you oed. Dont worry about the opk. The bbt shows you definitely have oed (that's why even my doc wants to see the my bbt despite all the machines and knowledge he has). You can have a positive opk but it doesnt guarantee you will pop an egg. So still need bbt and/or ultrasound scan.

    We are trying to concieve-ing!

Hello! I am so falling asleep at this meeting...

Ebichan - looks like you o-Ed on day 12 or 13. So since you tested opk on day 14 it may not have worked?!?

Dragontail - oh, I dont't trust the nurses at the clinic. I mean, they can't even keep to schedule for the patients' consultations... Even whilst we made appointment sometimes I think they also go by first come first serve which then defeats the original purpose of appointments?!? Cuz there was once my appointment at 5pm and one nurse told me the other lady was 515pm. later on - after waiting for about 30min, this lady saw the doc before me... i asked another nurse why and she said because the lady came before me at 450pm - i was like huh?!? I think their processing needs improvement too. I waited an hour once to collect med. anyhow, glad you talked to doc instead!

Me no like Thomson Medical Center too. But will be seeing dr Tham at Thomson Medical Center this fri... Prepping myself for parking woes!

Happilymarried, this is my version of the pen. Maybe it's newer design? Dont know if you can see...the black window is where the dosage iu is shown.

Littlej, you are referring to Dr Chew's clinic ya? So far I dont see "loop holes" yet because mine is usually one of the earliest slots there. But I must say I've seen those stupid practice at other clinics! I seriously cannot understand too. The other patient is early shouldnt compromise my appointed time.

Ok I notice something during my last last visit. When the recep was looking through the appointment book, she told me there was a slot at 845am on a Friday. I peeped at the book. That timing has 3 slots; because the 2 slots got written names and one emtpy slot which was for me. That Friday when I returned, I was the first patient (kiasu). After that, couple of ladies came so I reckon they are the two 845am ones. Though I was 3rd in that slot, I was called to go in first. So ok this makes sense since I'm the earliest of the trios. But no one who is slotted after me should go in first just because she arrives earlier! *roar*.

    We are trying to concieve-ing!

So it shows it's good to be early. I was at dr wu yesterday, I'm on the afternoon list but no where to go so I sat at the waiting area. at one point of time outside no one waiting! Dr wu got angry n told the assistant to call them, if they not here within 15min then all shift to afternoon slot. She said she also shocked when alot ppl come n write one block of names then no see anyone. And then I get to see her first! Hehehe

dragontail - wow the gonal f pen is not the same as I have used.. haha.. how fast things change! I think compare to puregon.. maybe puregon is easier to use.. the window to see dosage is larger too... but works the same so no worries.. so on wed you will know how well your eggies r growing!

littlehamster - haha!! next time bring magazine or things to do while waiting!

dragontail - oh I had to run 2 places because the lab that does sperm washing is at novena.. there is no lab within Thomson Medical Center... so no choice.. have to shuttle between 2 places.. but if I had been with dr loh at that time.. I would have done the iui at his novena clinic then no need to rush back to Thomson Medical Center.. made some wrong choices of gynaes back then..
