    quincy
You can feed him unagi (eel). LOL my husband hates chicken essence too so I give him this tonic drink from Japan (we buy it from the pharmacy at Isetan or Liang Court) or I prepare Unagi for him. Good for stamina and hot days

Happilymarried, sigh, next PH is in Oct?
sigh last time I had one PH every month... now so few

Re: We are trying to concieve-ing!

    Hello,

The nurse rang me back and told me that the blood test came back positive and is consistent with the # weeks I am (3 weeks plus)?
So I made another appt end of next week for a scan

Come to think of it, it's really early early days for me. I'm very scared and hope it's a sticky sticky one.

Re: We are trying to concieve-ing!

    Dear all,

Im not sure if this is the correct thread to post my question. But, Im just wondering if there is any couples out there who are trying to concieve-ing and went for a medical check up. We have been trying for almost a year but there aint any positive results yet. Tried traditional chinese medicine, but still no positive result. Wondering if we should just go to gynae for a check but feeling lost as we have no idea on what we are suppose to do and how to go about finding the gynae for the check-ups.

    Thanks in advance!!

    *taking notes furiously! THANK YOU

Actually it is my bday tomorrow And husband is bringing me to eat sushi! We were just talking the other day how it is so hard to find good sushi in Singapore and can only rely on a few good places... But for good results in the coming weeks, I will gladly give up Sushi!

There will be others who will be in a better position to advice but perhaps you can (if you dont mind) give some info like more details of what traditional chinese medicine you tried, etc.
The girls here are very knowledgeable.

Re: We are trying to concieve-ing!

anybody can help? I got a question from my friend.

she wants to put her baby in infant care. but her hubby doesn't want.
the hubby says there is always someone in the house to help out.
like her mother in law. but my friend said that her mother in law is very old.
even do simple walking across the road she will be panting and sweating profusely.
she told her hubby say his mum will not always be around. but the hubby told her that her words are nonsense.
how should my friend convince her hubby? any more ideas to add on to hers?

Maybe your friend should sit down and discuss with her husband..saying that his mum would not always be around would only make him to be on offensive mode..she could list down the reason why the baby should be put in infant care, like at his mother age, it would be very tiring for her, stressful and etc..get a compromise like bring the baby to his mother on weekend to visit.

Happilymarried - yes!!! very impt to check when doc goes on leave. Unless you are the sort who dont mind an alternative / replacement when doc is away. Have you checked with your doc?
Hmmmz. .I must remember to ask when I see my gynae today (Wednesday).
I forget to ask my gynae whether he would be around for my edd during my appt today...sighs. .

Nat, oh!!! I see. Maybe they are more strict over there. For the deposit, roughly how much is it and must pay in cash (not CPF medisave) is it?

    Are you excited??

I forgot if you work or not. If so, are you looking forward to the 4 months leave from work?
