I suppose AF means menses. Haha.
We wasnt keen on having baby at that time, so we did not visit the gynae until towards end of last year.

Though i did some online research that most of the individuals who took pills for more than a year, will resume their period within 6months. Whereas some may take a longer time, ie: 1year.

I got worried, and took bai foong pills in jan until my nose bleed. Haha. Soon after i got my period regularly. (30-32 days cycle)

You're very brave yukki. No way am i gonna eat that oysters. Raw or cooked. I leave it to the man. He loves it anyway so he's happy to be slurping on oysters during the fertile phase.

Today is first scan and the doc just said about the lining thickness and "small foliicles". Nothing else mentioned. I also can't see the screen. Next Monday scan again and I shall ask about how many eggs are growing.

    Hello teacher.....keke

    I am going HKG again....LOL....

Nope i am not taking conceive anymore. I used to until i went to see traditional chinese medicine. She asked me not to take cos I may not be suitable and she is giving me medi to help with building follicles and ovulation which are abit heaty. Supplements as she said generally can be heaty like royal jelly so she advised me not to take. My body is upper is heaty and lower is cold. I believe in traditional chinese medicine as i know it can help to "tiao" our body be it in general health or trying to concieve. Well at least it worked for me for my previous pregnancy but unfortunately the baby heartbeat stopped at 10 weeks.

I am only taking her medi and on my own i eat vit c, folic acid, CoQ10-Omega and EPO.

    MXLO,
Have you tried Bai Foong pills?
It regulates my menses, and i feel well in general except quite heaty.

I went HK with my mum and sis last year, bought many clothings. Haha

We will be driving to Malacca next weekend

Re: We are trying to concieve-ing!

    A letter from Heaven

    Dear Mommy and Daddy,

I know this is a rough time for you so I will be as gentle as I can be. First of all, thank you for so many tears, particularly those shared with another that you love. They are a gift to me, a precious tribute to your investment in us. As you do your mourning, do it at your pace only. dont't let anybody suggest that you do your grief work at someone else's timetable.

Do whatever it takes to face directly the reality of what has happened, even though you may need to pause frequently and yearn for my return. Do this with courage and my blessings. Know that sometimes inertia is the only movement possible. Give your best to keeping a balance between remembering me and renewing your commitments to life.

It's okay with me if you go through minutes, hours and even days not thinking of me. I know that you'll never forget. Losing me and grabbing hold of a new meaning in your life is a delicate art. I'm not sure if one comes before the other or not, maybe it's a combination.

Be with people who accept you as you are. Mention my name out loud and if they dont't make hasty retreat, they're probably excellent candidates for friendship.

If, by a remote possiblilty, you think that there is anything you could have done for me and didn't, I forgive you. Resentment does not abide here, only love.

You know how people sometimes ask you how many children you have? Well, I am still yours and you are still my mother. Always acknowledge that with tenderness, unless to do so would fall on insensitive ears or would be painful to you.

I know how you feel inside. Read, even though your tears anoint the pages. In Henri Nowens' book "Out of Solitude" he writes, "the friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair and confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not healing, and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares."

I want you to know that I am okay and that I have sent you messages to ease your pain. They come in the form of flowers that bloom out of season, birds singing, voices and visions and sometimes through your friends and even strangers who volunteer as angels.

Stay open but dont't expect the overly dramatic. You will get what you need and it may be simple as an internal feeling of peace. You are not crazy, you have been comforted.

Please seek out people bereaved longer than you. They are tellers of truth, and if they have done their grief work, they are an inspiration and a beacon of hope for you.

There are still funny things happening in our world. It delights me to no end to hear your spontaneous laughter.

Mommy and Daddy, I will always be in your heart. Today I will light a candle for you. When you light your candle for me their light will shine above the darkness.

    Love,

    Your Baby

Re: We are trying to concieve-ing!

    Hi all,
been following this thread and admire everyone's strength and positivity in their trying to concieve journey.
Have been married for 2 years and hubby and I have been trying to conceive for 7 months now and no luck so far. We're both 31 this year. It's really quite sian for me... because all my close gal pals who got married after me are all starting to announce happy pregnancy news one after another. It's really one after another! I'm happy for them, yet on another hand feeling quite despondent for myself because month after month I get disappointed. And I'm really starting to wonder if there's anything wrong with us and wonder whether or not it's time to go for a thorough check. So sian. I think hubby is feeling sian also... but I guess we both try not to think about it too much.
Am also starting to feel the pressure from our family and relatives when people start asking the million dollar dreaded question of "Why still no baby yet? When you going to have a baby?"
Hoping to get some strength from you girls... and to stay positive like how all of you do.

    Thanks Mrs Koh.
Yeah maybe you're right, perhaps we should go for a checkup sooner than later. 7 months is not that long yet it's feels quite long!
I dont't have any problem with irregular menses etc... in fact my cycle is always regular (26-28 days). Oh well... time to get the checkup process started.
Get a referral from polyclinic for a checkup at Kandang Kerbau Hospital seems like the route to go for now...
