Hi all, I'm new to this forum.
I'm 23, my hubby is 24.
I'm trying to get pregnant with for 1.5years but still no news yet.
This year I've done two leep biopsy.
you been through leep biopsy is it because doctor suggestion some underlying issue?
Hi ladies, MIA so long from here. How is everyone? Nope i am not preggy yet, decide to let natural take its course. Went to traditional chinese medicine be4 ended up having messy menstrual cycle (mine was irregular anyways)
Ok, i need some advice here. Any ladies went to d&c be4. Was having abnormal bleeding probs. 1 wk after period ended, i had brownish red to red discharge. Went to Kandang Kerbau Hospital and c my gynae. Pap smear and scan shows no cysts, just that my lining is thick @ 11mm. Gynae suggest do d&c procedure or monitor first.now 1 wk had past, i am still experience this brownish to red discharge. Im feeling rather lost and quite depressed of this. Should i go for this procedure?
My temp drop today, I guess my 2nd IUI is a failure again. No symptoms so far, I think I should start considering IVF.. sigh..
Hi ladies, it's me again. Today I was officially informed my second IUI was unsuccessful again. I have cried the entire day and am feeling so hopeless. To make things worse, next week is my wedding anniversary and I secretly hoped that this is would a nice surprise, but alas.. I feel that I am doomed to be childless..
@summervine : dont't be discourage! Babydust will come to you soon! Since you've quit your job, enjoy and relax first, dont't be too stress for yourself k.. Take Care..
Need some advised... Is it recommended to eat clomid and do HSG at the same month?
Thanks babysparkling. They are 2 different matter right? I dont't think it should be a concern. Your doctor should be able to advise?
Af arrived just before my birthday. What a double sad month
Hi ladies.. i am new here.. love reading everyone's post and knowing that im not alone in this. Im 26, married for about 3 years now, trying to concieve about 1 year now and on 2nd box of black mores conceive well gold..tried the first in September but stopped after it has finished. Only started on 2nd box now.. currently on my 2 weeks wait but no signs at all, neither do i have my usual pms signs which is a little weird but very tired, sleepy and restless for the past few days...hoping for a BFP.. baby dust to all!
Finally burst out into tears. December is not a happy birthday and Christmas month for me. Have heard of the #8 news (friends, colleagues, and even cousins) pregnant with their #2, their #1 is even younger than mine. Happy for them but deep down in me is hurting and why am I not one of them
@NLissa Yes, I have several friends and family members who got married much after me and already have kids. It is very stressful being asked again and again. Today saw on Channelnewsasia that this couple has 2 babies within this SG50 year.. sigh.. and we are here struggling just to have one. I also trust that God has a plan for us and we must remain as positive as possible although it really is hard. Hope you get good news soon!
I saw this in another page and thought its good to share

I was diagnosed with PCOS for several years and back then i brushed it aside as i was just 18YO and was single. I knew that it was a condition that attributed to my weight gain, horrible skin and excessive hair growth. Fast forward today, i have done a surgery to remove cyst from my ovary and the gynae did some procedure that was suppose to help PCOS patients ovulate ( I think it is puncturing holes in the ovary or something or that sorts).
I used to be on BCP to regulate my menses and i could only treat the symptoms of my PCOS (e.g. waxing for hair growth, diet and skincare for skin). Unfortunately exercise only got me 'fitter' but not so much weight loss. Apparently it is a double edged sword to be overweight and have PCOS because you need to lose weight to solve the PCOS or solve PCOS to lose weight.
My husband and I are considering options for fertility since we know of this condition. I have yet spoken to any gynae yet. I did not really liked the gynae who did my surgery so i dont think i will be going back to her. I was hoping to hear from people who have battled with PCOS and what sort of treatment are they seeking, successful or non successful stories. I dont know if i should seek traditional chinese medicine? or should i go to a gynae and be prescribed with medication/surgery to attempt to conceive. I know IVF would be a costly procedure and a long commitment too.
Thanks in advance
Hi ladies.... as per my earlier post i mentioned that im on the 2nd box of Black Mores conceive well gold after a stopped for 2months or so. 4 days before AF is due, i had very light pink discharge and thought AF is coming since when I first took black mores AF came 4 days earlier. I'm a very regular 26-28days cycle. on 28days i had very sharp pain on one side of my uterus, like a knife stabbing and letting go and stabbing again which last no more then 2minutes. I went to see my usual GP on the day itself but there was not much he could help besides giving pain killers. AF came only on day 30. Weird is that i had very heavy bleeding on the 2nd day of AF with clots which I dont usually get since my teens.. today is the 3rd day and im bleeding extremely light like when your period is coming to an end... not sure if its caused by the pills I'm on or otherwise...anyone experience this before?
It depends on many factors. How old are you?
I was diagnosed with cyst on both ovaries and my specialist in Kandang Kerbau Hospital and now private specialist in Mt E both did not bring up any surgery to remove the cysts. Where did you do your consultations and surgery? I personally did not go for IVF as my first course of action, and am on pills+injections now with my fertility specialist and he has been most patient, informative and I feel secure in his care. He is so experienced due to his long years of doing this. He is almost 60 and in his bio he pioneered the laproscopy technique in Singapore. I'm 35. My hubby's sperm is tested above average, and I do ovulate a few eggs every month on the fertility drugs prescribed (clomid, letrozole, gonal F injections). Dr Lim (my doc) told me that the pills+jabs cycle I do is a 15% success rate a month, compared to IVF which is 20%. My husband said we should do this regime instead, because then we can do it over 6 menstrual cycles and its more cost effective. 15% x 6 = 90%
As for traditional chinese medicine, my fertility specialist Dr Lim told me to avoid. Also i think traditional chinese medicine takes a long time to work, so if you redirect your resources (time) to it its a waste of precious years. I dont't know how old you are. But if you are above 38 I would advise you to go direct to IVF. If you are a Singaporean, it is subsidized in public hospitals, plus you can use Medisave in Public hospital IVF. Among the 3 public hospitals doing IVF, KK has the highest success rate. For citizens if you do IVF in public hospital I heard that after using Medisave you pay less than $1k cash each time.

Another thing is I remember govt subsidies for IVF are only given to women below 40 so I highly urge women who are nearing 38 to move on to IVF pronto.
My hubs and I have been trying to conceive since early 2015. We did not really take things seriously up till my mother in law passed on and the idea of our child not being able to see his/ her grandparents got us thinking about trying to concieve in a different light. We love children and our friends, relatives and even colleagues (some of whom got married after us) are now either parents or are pregnant. I have slowly learnt to be happy for others though at times I will secretly cry and wish/ pray that it will be us some day. My sister In law got married last March and she's due in two weeks. The feeling is gnawing in me. I am very excited to welcome the lil prince but there are times I went through depression thinking about us. We have been married for 3 years since Nov 2012. For now, we are still trying to concieve naturally. I have finally decided to turn to forums to give me the encouragement and a form of support as we embark on this journey which is physically, emotionally and mentally draining. Best wishes to one and all!
Hi thfifis, welcome. Unfortunately this forum tend to slow down a lot more. Maybe most of them had already pregnant that's why they never chat here already. Me trying to concieve #2 for one year plus also been struggling. Hearing so many so many good news during this cny make me even more miserable.
