After started breast feeding, my left breast looks 1 or 2 cup sizes smaller than the right side. And usually my right size can pump out about 100 ml and left size can only pump out 40 ml.
Is this normal? Does this mean left my left breast got less milk ducts that's why got less milk? Will it be this way permanently or they will go back to same size after stop breastfeeding? Anything I can do? After noticed this I usually offer left breast to my baby first and let her suck for longer time on the left side than the right size but it doesn't seem to help.
Any mommies got same experience and got any solution to this?

how old is your baby? assuming no blocked ducts.. to boost supply on the 40ml side, latch your baby on that side first followed by pump so that is will simulate more milk production...
My baby is almost 1month old. I do latch her mostly on the left side and always empty the breast after feed her. But as I am still in my confinement I only latch her about 4 times a day and the rest just pump out.
At 1month average I can pump out about 120-160 ml. What about other mommies? I keep worrying that my supply won't be able to catch up with my baby's demand. She is drinking 100ml already.
Baby's suckle is the best pump. If you want your supply to increase with your baby's appetite, it is best to keep latching your baby. I know it is very very tiring but this is the best way.
As for the smaller breast. Try to offer it to your baby first and let her suckle on it for longer to stimulate more supply. Some babies have a preference for a side but they adapt quickly so if your baby prefers your right, try to get your baby get used to feeding from the left.
Milk supply usually is only established between the 4ht-6th week.
probably it will go back together when you stop breast feeding also, same situation in my friend, so all you have to do is to pump together as always .
