My baby usually will fight with me for 5-10min and sometimes for the entire feeding period as he suckle at my breast. He will push away, pull out of my nipple, cry n fuss when he's latched on my breast.
Anyone has similar prob? How do you deal with this prob?
I did burb him and put Ruyi oil... Still he does that fussy feeding sometimes. At times he dont. I dont know what I did right and what I did wrong.
same here. my baby does that when he has wind in his stomach and unable to pass out or burp out. he will struggle, and cry, and keep latching and unlatching. i checked and there is milk in my breast, so cannot be that he can't get any milk. he feels better and feed better after we give him some colic drop. you can try giving your baby colic drops too
My baby was like this as well, but around 2-3 months old plus it was because I have a very slow flow and I gave him a bottle occasionally...but since you're latching on directly it wouldn't be nipple confusion.
It may be breast refusal and it can happen at any age:

I found he fed better if I took him off the breast, calmed him down and tried again..and again...and again...till he latched without fussing. It took a while but we got there eventually.
Hope it gets better
That was exactly what I tried. Its like fighting a battle with him to see who is more determined. Sometimes he won and he'll cry and fuss throughout the whole feeding session. Its embarrassing if we happened to be outside at a nursing room... ppl thought I'm ill-treating him or something. Sometimes I won and he'll be silent and calmly feeding after awhile.
I hope this phase will pass soon... It WILL PASS, won't it? Tell me it will!
They go through funny stages, sometimes all they want is to be on the boob all day long. Another time they become easily distracted and want to see everything that's going on so it will be suck suck suck latch off turn around latch on back to sucking again...and then repeat process. But with it all, it gets better and better
We have the same problem, i only push my baby in my breast then she stop bite, then she continue feed .
