Like to check with you ladies if it is normal to drop quite a far bit of hair after the 3rd month of my labour??? Anyone of you experience any of this before???
Mine's dropping alot!
That happened to me 8 years ago, eventually all will be back to normal.
It is normal, hair loss will stop 6mths or 1 yrs......
Meantime to minimise hair loss, you can use hair loss shampoo......or cut your hair short
I guess that's no cause of worry as it will grow back after a few months when the hormones get stabilized. I agree with the other lady, it's best to cut your hair short to lighten the weight.
Yes , i suffering from hairloss for 3 month plus already , i was tolerating it till i can't take it then i went to see doc , he said that it was because i slim down too fast which is also sudden decrease in the hormones lvl i think , i bought the sprays , 1 more growing & 1 for hair loss .. Then still not working so i went to cut short & bought new shampoo , it is alot better now , those spray cost a bomb , so does the shampoo , i using Loreal expert density i think .. But i think that maybe it is stopping so decrease .. or maybe because my hair now thin until no weight ? haha ~ I suggest cut short because i was very determine to keep long hair then i drop alot .. Takecare !!
Yes, it's normal and it's due to hormonal change. After awhile your body will re-adjust and hair will stop falling.
I also lost a lot, but later have black sesame paste rescued hair back -- now the new hair grows up but pretty short, so the short hair stand on top of old long hair, very funny looking, hope will be ok when they also grow long...
my hubby hair grows back -- he was almost bald on top, so pretty hopeful
You mean you ate black sesame paste? or you put on the scalp? never heard of this treatment before, so curious to know............
I had the same hair loss as you, and my hair is now a quarter of the thickness it used to be. My baby is now 8 months old and it is starting to grow back and have the little fluffy bits all around. It is so annoying because you cant do much with it except slick it down.
I just give birth about 2 month.. If i wanted to dye n perm my hair soon will it make it worse, since 3rd month will drop alot?
I give birth in last dec, I didn't loose a lot of hair so I went for rebonding shortly after CNY, 2 wks ago I started loosing a lot a lot of hair!! Just visit my gyne, she said its normal, no medication needed, but try not to do any chemical treatment to your hair.
I've read somewhere that hair loss within 3-6 months after giving birth is normal. If you are worried about your condition you better check with your doctor to ask for multivitamin supplements. This will set your body to a healthy state which is a good environment for your growing hair to thrive in. Remember, as your hair falls, new hairs are also starting to form to replace these.
Ya, my hair also keep dropping ever since the 4th month after giving birth...@@
mine was around 4-5th month but will grow baby hair. just try to lessen chemical to your hair.
Me too! ABout 4 months after childbirth. But my hair was very thick to begin with so I never do anything. Just have to clear the toilet floor of hairs after shower. Yup, agree with Alisa, dont't do chemical treatment to hair during this time. Now, its 10month after childbirth and everything goes back to normal.
I started to shed after 4 mths so much so that iu can spot my scalp from a distance. To prevent loss of hair roots i started using hair serum to encourage growth while shedding. Baby hairs r growing while other hair keep falling. at least i wont be bald!!!
I also had that happened to me but cannot remember which month it started. I had to cut my hair and keep it really short to improve the situation. It is so horrible. Jean Yip has this scalp treatment thing that can help grow hair. My friend tried it and it really worked for her. But it is very very expensive.
I went to a neighhour salon that specialize do hair herbal treatment..
Francis herbal treatment.. Not very expensive, maybe you gals can try.. Remove the oil n dont't feel so itch
Short hair 28 per session
Long hair I think 35 .. I dont't know
My hair also drops a lot when my baby turned 3.5 months. I wanted to cry everytime I ran my fingers thru my hair and some strands would come loose. Didn't want to cut my hair short. I guess I'd just have to ride it out and hope they would stop falling soon! =(
