i just cut the papaya into cubes and boil over slow fire for 30 mins. i added wolfberries too.
and amazingly, unripe papaya will be sweet when cook also:-) usually i dont add salt, but up to you.
by the way, buy green papaya with slightly ripe parts(minimal). normally cannot finish using one whole papaya, can divide it up 3 times. put papaya in fridge to slow the ripen process so can last longer.
