2-3oz for a start should be quite good, since baby's stomach very small (size of his fist) and can only take in small amount of milk each time. Does the baby seem satisfied after each feed? If yes shouldn't be a problem. It's normal for infants to feed 8-12 times over 24hrs since they have small tummies and breastmilk is very easily digestable.
And if you are worried, try direct latching. Latching is based on baby's que for hunger, as baby grows and suckles more, supply will increase correspondingly. Offer one breast first, when baby unlatches (sign of full or no more milk), then the other.
