    Re: Regurgitation of milk

My baby regurgitates his milk a lot too even till now. After 3 months of frequent occurences, pediatrician diagnosed him with GERD. It's a reflux problem but they will eventually outgrow it.

If the regurgitation is right after a feed and a burp, it's usually ok. My dear son will regurgitate even 1 hr after a feed and the regurgitated milk smells very sour.

    Re: Regurgitation of milk

It's normal to regurgitate milk after milk feeds and even long after one, the pediatrician i saw when my dear daughter was 2 mths old told me that. I was concerned that she may have GERD but the pediatrician just said that it's not...

Try to hold your darling at an angle of 30 to 40degrees after feeding for at least 15min. That's what i did and it did help a bit.

My dear daughter also regurgitates alot, pediatrician said it's common and as long as she is gaining weight then it's ok. Are you fully breastfeeding?
