which paediatrician is your child visiting? where is the clinic located? is he/she good?
We dont't visit pediatrician as very very ex.. Our GP is below our block.. Daily Medical @ Blk 159.. husband and wife team - Dr Gabriel Koh and Dr Monica Goh.. They have 5 children thus very dedicated and well knowledge regarding baby and children..
Dr Sim at Elias Mall.
His charges are quite cheap. We recently changed to him as the cost of dds' orignal pediatrician is too high.
My baby is seeing Dr Koey Soo Sin, Thomson Paediatric Clinic/or Centre. He's mostly based at Thomson Medical Center, and at the Bishan branch on Sunday morning. He's not too bad, charges standard pediatrician rate... not the top-of-range like other more famous PDs. So, still affordable. For babies below two, I prefer to see PDs rather than GPs. For illness only. For jabs, I go to my GP.
My son visits Doctor Ong Eng Keow from Singapore Baby and Child Clinic. He is based in Thomson Medical Center and AMK branch.
He is a very experienced doctor and due to that sometimes we have to wait for sometime even though an appointment has been made.
Had seen Dr Ong Before as he was relieving another Dr Ong (who has came out to set up his own clinic)... he sure is a nice doc. very patient and even though he was standing in.
My dear son visit pediatrician @ Sengkang Kids clinic by Dr Tan although not near my house but i rather go there coz the pediatrician there is great!!
my baby's first check up was done by dr keoy fr Thomson Medical Center when she was born. now we have switch to dr ang ai tin fr Thomson Medical Center she is much more detailed i feel. she was recommend by my sister & happen to chance upon her when my baby got a cough & dr keoy wasn't on duty that very day. only then we realise our baby has got murmur. we were so sad & heartbreaking then & felt angry too. dr ang arrange for a detailed scan fr a heart specialist dr lucky joo teck he was a visiting doctor at Thomson Medical Center. though dr lucky mentioned that the doctor got to be very detailed in order to hear the sound cause by the murmur. but still felt so angry why didn't dr keoy diagnosed of her murmur. maybe i was just kind of unlucky then. hope everything will goes well for the next heart scan. in fact dr ang consultation fees is the same as dr keoy & that she has her own clinic at Thomson Medical Center just beside the usual visiting clinic. but for vaccinations we went to healthway instead of Thomson Medical Center as healthway offer much lower price in fact the lowest we found so far.
no offence. hope i didn't caused any unwanted doubts about dr keoy as i started this thread with no intention of ill speaking but with intention of seeking a good & experienced paediatrician for my baby in the case of a second opinion if needed.

No worries, thks for sharing. Actually we are also thinking of switching pediatrician but never got to doing it. Hmm, I thot Dr Ang Ai Tin's fees are MUCH higher than Dr Koey? My gynae recommended Dr Koey for my daughter (she's 7 now) but I switched to another doctor after only one or two visits - cos at that time I felt he wasn't very experienced or good. This time round when we saw him again for my baby boy, he seemed to be better so we've stayed with him. However, recently my boy has been falling sick quite often - cold, running/ blocked nose, so my hubby has been saying to switch doc, he said Dr Koey's meddy can't heal our baby!
: To God be the Glory :
dr ang was recommend by my sister. her baby appetite was small, keep having flu, cough & her skin got rashes quite often.
after visiting dr ang then she got to know of her baby's condition better. her baby has got eczema which causes all this. gave her some cream & advise of a more suitable soap which improve her condition gradually. she even detects her eyes problem. in fact sometimes i do wonder, why our children has got so much health issues after visiting dr ang. kind of suay are we or is she? but still i like her being so detailed & that she is more than willing to tell you more than what you seeking her consultation for.
but i also believe in changing doctors if the condition did not improve.
Thanks again! Hmm, that get me thinking! Will try Dr Ang the next time! My sister In law has also recommended her before and we brought our girl to see her once - I remember her fees were like so high! May be cos Dr Koey was still pretty new then and his fees were lower? Hahah!
Nevertheless, hope dont have to see pediatrician ... Pray for good health for all our babies!
Dr Winston Ng - Kidslink (chua chu kang)
dear daughter seeing Dr Terence Tan from KinderClinic at Mount Alvernia since she's born =)
though the waiting time for every appt is a little long , but he's really nice and super good with babies =) he even came to visit to check if im feeling well and have a chat with me after he's done with checking dear daughter everyday after i gave birth =D
Both my sons are seeing Dr lucky Joo Teck from Kidslink (Jurong East). He is my elder boy's pediatrician since birth and both husband and i very satisfied with him and appointed him as my second baby's pediatrician. We go to him for all jabs, skin allergies, rashes and other which require specialist attention. I bring my elder boy to the pediatrician for normal cough and colds until he turned 3yrs before switching to a GP at Jurong West. The same for my baby.
Any mummies have any exprience with Doc Ngiam Thye Eng from Gleneagles Hospital that often station at Singapore Baby and Children Clinic??
I visit both Anthony & baby clinic as well as Kids Clinic . Located at H ougang & Sengkang respectively .
kids clinic frm rivervale mall cyn?
I used to bring my kids to Dr Agnes Tay at Jurong Point. Not that she is good, only because she was the only pediatrician within walking distance from my flat. I dont't really like her. There was once my girl high fever for 4 days, went to see her, she said nothing wrong, no medicine given at all. Now she has moved to Jurong East. Not going to see her again.
There was a time when my kids had bronchitis and saw many PDs also no use. Finally I brought them to see Dr Tan Kay Soon at Mt Alvernia hospital. He is good at treating bronchitis.
Now I bring my kids to see GP My family clinic at Pioneer Mall(Jurong West). Dr Gwee is very very nice. Her medication is quite effective at treating coughs too, dont't need to use nebulizer.
Another GP I like is Dr Tan Poh Kiang at PJ Clinic(Beo Crescent). But he is very popular, especially on Mondays where there is usually a very long queue, impossible to see him. Dr Tan is good for both adults and kids. I know many people moved far far away, still come back to see him. His fees are reasonable, I think his pneumococcal jab is one of the cheapest.
For me, I see Dr lucky Joo Teck too, my daughter likes him alot, so she is very guai when we visit him. I feel that he always try to play with my daughter and make her feel at ease. She is even willing to lie down for 15 mins when he scan her.
